  1. Posts made on Safari are messy and full of <br /> tags and non-functional links/attachments, etc. This seems to happen on mobile and desktop view modes. I am using the latest release (10.3).
  2. I'd be interested in the scope/scope rings, cocking lever, the cast rubber grips (you should probably make these with a bit of bleed, since not all 3D printers are created equal) and possibly the LED stuff (any chance of adding sound, too?). I'd also be interested in the 'End Cap 2' (d-ring) part, but I think this is an area where we can improve on the original model and make it more screen accurate - the original mounts to the OUTSIDE of the end cap, so the flange is not necessary, you could just thread the inside and you'd just need a screw + washer to mount it.
  3. A few more updates for today. Front barrel after glazing putty and a couple coats of primer. I'm using Rustoleum Automotive Filler Primer, because I can buy as much as I need locally and it isn't too expensive. Rear barrel and hub after a few coats of primer, test fitting (I don't plan to glue these so I can paint them seperately). Various other parts after putty + primer. I also picked up the suggested flashlight for the front and ground off the tab on the end that the keychain attached to. Trigger/handle after sanding and first coat of putty/primer. I actually re-printed this part with a hollow handle, I plan on making the safety grip functional.
  4. I thought it was time that I finally put together my own thread for my blaster - yet another build based off T5H/Germain's excellent files. My goal is to get it (mostly) done by the time my Anovos kit gets here later this year. I'll be painting the black and silver parts now, but holding off on the white portions until the armor is here so it all color matches. Most of the parts in the kit printed out and ready for sanding/etc. - the different colors are from having some friends help me print out the files (thanks again!). I modified some of the files to allow for electronics - I plan on putting lights in the barrel and wiring everything to a central switch behind the end cap, hence holes have been added to allow for wires to pass through in most of the parts that I thought might need them. Muzzle cleaned up and test fitting of screws. Bondo glazing putty. Don't do this indoors without the proper gear! After a couple rounds of putty and sanding, ready for primer. Forward grip with bondo (glazing putty) and some Apoxie sculpt to fill in/fix some of the details from the print, as this part warped ever-so-slightly. Forward grip and front barrel after first round of bondo + primer, here I'm adding a second round of glazing putty to smooth out areas that the primer made visible. Using some more Apoxie sculpt to fix some of the asymmetry in the folding stock, as well as clean up the seam where I glued the two parts together.
  5. I'm ~90% sure the pre-order has come and gone as I can remember seeing it available for purchase.
  6. I picked one up. Will probably pick up the pauldron at some point as well... but also going to need boots, gloves, neckseal and whatever else it doesn't include.
  7. I ordered one after the email went out letting us know that there would be no Black Friday discounts on the kit; I had been on the fence and gotten to the point of checkout a few times, but now that I know the price is going up now seems like a good time. Anyone know if they ship them out all at once or it it's based on order date still? PS: Have they always charged a $12 handling fee? I don't remember seeing that before.
  8. Well done. PS, I've noticed the mobile site breaks posts for me too.
  9. That was me. I need to finish printing my blaster first, then I can look into how much a kit would run (no promises!).
  10. Thanks. At least I have a year to figure this stuff out before my armor kit gets here!
  11. It's rigid enough that the front doesn't droop or anything?
  12. The first post looks like it was written for people who already know how to wire and code... not someone like me who rarely does that sort of stuff.
  13. I'm hoping they offer something. I didn't expect tax and shipping to be so expensive.
  14. Was anyone else charged sales tax? They never used to. Nearly $60.
  15. Where is a good resource to get started (on boards that will fit, pre-made code, etc) without reading 18 pages of comments? I'm at the point I'm ready to start on the electronics for my F-11D.
  16. Looking to pick up the standard line FOTK armor and looking for a 10% off code if anyone has one they aren't going to need. Thanks in advance. I'll make sure to pay it forward!
  17. Do they still have these 10% coupons? If so and anyone has a spare one, please send it along. I'll make sure to pay it forward to the next member.
  18. I got the newsletter, so definitely not an accident.<br><br> As soon as I find a 10% off code I'm in!
  19. It looks like the front stock could be made functional if we wanted?
  20. Same here... tentatively interested pending pricing. Ken, I assume all of the aluminum parts on the blaster will be real metal on your version?
  21. Nice build. Just starting printing out the standard version... I will be happy if mine comes out half as nice.
