Japser an dothert.  What glue did you all use for your "Belts of the First Order" belt kit and has it held up?

OMG I'm so sorry I missed this question! Better late than never! I used 2 part epoxy. This is what I used. Industrial strength. You can find similar ones in any decent hardware store. It's still holding up!

    https://www.weicon.com.sg/products/weicon-chemie/adhesives-and-sealants/2-component-adhesives-and-sealants/epoxy-resin-systems/epoxy-adhesives/2667/easy-mix-n-50-epoxy-adhesive

  2. Ah, interesting. So the greeblie side is fixed and the inner side is velcro? Did your spats come with that bit where you put the velcro on? Mine totally don't have it, so I am debating about cutting down the "main" spat to accommodate a slot for it, or manually adding on a tab for it

Before you cut, I would suggest you test fit the spat around the shins first. You don’t want to end up cutting too much, and the spats cannot wrap around the shin.

I also fixed the greeblie part and used magnets for the inner side. Do take a look at my build thread if you want.
  3. Thank you very much for your prompt review, @justjoseph63! Who would have thought, EI and Centurion on the same day!! And thank you for your kind words! Yes, I believe in giving back to the community, after having received such fine advice from those that have come before me! My build thread is a pinned post there, and yes I intend to share with those who might be joining the FO ranks in the future!

Here's my submission for Centurion. The photos are largely the same, except for an additional helmet photo showing that the tube stripes are fully cut out, and also some different action shots. For the DO's kind considerations, and do feel free to ask me if you need any clarifications, thank you!

Hi Jasper, and thank you for your EI submission!  In the following review I will be going over items pertaining to your current submission, as well as those that will be required for Centurion level should you choose to apply... (and with this armor, I expect it)!

    CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All required submission photos have been posted and I am very pleased to announce your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for ANH Stunt Expert Infantry. On behalf of Sha Sha and myself,  Congratulations!   :salute:

    Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor.  Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions.

WOW.. Nothing to mention here!   This is a first for me, brother.  I have reviewed countless submissions for Expert Infantry and there's always at least a few suggestions to go over in this area, but in this case you nailed it on the first round!  Your attention to detail is phenomenal, and I can tell that your heart and soul have gone into this build.

    Centurion Requirements

In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustments. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here.

Because Centurion photos show much more detail than those for Expert Infantry, items to pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all that we can from what is seen, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper.

There is absolutely nothing holding you back from reaching Centurion level, Jasper, so I expect to see that submission as soon as you get the chance to post it so that we can get that badge under your name.  Well done, sir.  Well done indeed, so buckets off to you!  :smiley-sw013:

Thank you, @justjoseph63What awesome news to wake up to!

Although, did you approve me for ANH Stunt by mistake? Haha! :laugh1:

Centurion submission on the way! :peace:

  9. You look fantastic! The gaskets look perfect and those knees! How is your range of motion compared to your OT kit? How long does it take you to suit up/down and did you get help?

    Again, fantastic job!

Thank you! The range of motion is much better than the OTTK. Knees can bend a lot more, thighs can lift more too. Steps will not be a problem.

What I find more restrictive are the forearms. There is only 1 direction where you can bend your elbows, unless when you twist your wrists and twist the whole forearm armour too. You can only bend your elbows at the curve of the inside of the forearm, if you know what I mean. Other than that, it’s better in terms of motion than the OTTK.
