Where are you located in CA? I've done it at both places and never had any issues minus the onslaught of people wanting to take pictures

We were asked to come out to a Movie Stop for the release tomorrow, by the same regional manager who got us to come to Gamestop for the Battlefront release last November.
do stores like target and best buy allow people in costume into their stores?? or will the make a big deal out of it ?

One literally changes your voice to sound like in the movies. The other is more of a com link that creates a speaker that amplifies your voice.

Contact your local garrison, that's your best bet to find others.
i contacted them but it looks like nobody is doing anything :/ i guess im going to do a solo troop to my nearby target or best buy

I am just curious. I want to troop to my nearest target or best buy in my area and want to troop with other troopers i think it would make a lot of people's day haha

Some close-up pictures of the kidney/ab connection (while you are wearing the armor) would be really helpful, Nicholas. Those return edges on the side can certainly be trimmed off, especially if you have an overlap. As for keeping the kidney/ab connection lined up, I use 2 double snap connections on each side, as in the photo below. Works like a charm.

Thank you for the picture! i will take pictures a little later and upload them so you can see what im working with. As for the return edges... should i trim all of the torso pieces so that the sides of each piece have NO return edge and just leave a slight return edge on the top and bottoms of the different parts of the torso?

Nice looking kit, Nicholas, and it should pass for basic approval with no problem! Not sure if it just got shifted in the photo, but it looks as if your left drop box needs to come forward a bit. I would also hit the rivets on your ammo thigh pack and kidney with some white paint. It looks as if the kidney is overlapping a bit....an easy fix. Good luck in your 501st submission, sir!
thank you ! i noticed the drop box i will fix it ! yes i will paint the rivets white ! I am not sure how to fit the kidney so that it will match up perfectly.. do you have any advice you can give? measuring and cutting? Should i trim the return edge off on the sides of the kidney and leave the return edge on the top and bottom?

Hmm. Honestly, I don't think that piece was built correctly. It might be good enough to pass basic acceptance, however. But it looks to me like too much was trimmed off the interior half. The front-facing part should only have had a few mm of plastic trimmed, just to fit the return edge under the cover strip correctly. The rest of the trimming should be on the back side, where it's less visible, and cut evenly from both halves to help avoid this unevenness.
I'd check with your local garrison to see what they say. Could be they're ok with it. Otherwise, you may need to do some work to rebuild some of the cut material, or even replace it.
I'm going to find out. It could be worse but it still doesnt really look right. I'm not sure how i would try to rebuild some of the cut material without it being noticeable

One of those hands is way prettier than the other, LOL
It's hard to tell from photos. What colors did you use? I doubt you would need to sand anything down, though. Probably fine to just paint right over, if you want to change colors. Else rub the spots clear with rubbing alcohol. No need to remove plastic.

i think i just might paint right over. Another question! what do you think about my forearms?? if you see the inner part of the forearm doesnt meet up with the outer part but the backs of both pieces do? im not sure if i can fix this or not... i cant seem to think of how it can be fixed :/ -
I recently finished my Anovos TK build minus the fact that i still have some alterations to do but im trying to decide whether i should sand down the ab buttons and paint them the right color (french blue, admiral grey) i just went to a local michaels and picked out colors that looked close to me. Lessons learned by a first time builder... anyways what do you guys think??
I'm also not sure why my forarms came out like this... the left one is exactly the same and im wondering if any of you know what i can do to fix them?? Thank you in advance if you have any advice.
