  1. Very nice helmets! Building one of these is an awesome experience for me knowing it came from a great lineage.
  2. I got my TX helmet from ATA and all I can say is, its awesome! Easy to build, thick abs, sturdy, no soft sides. His black abs plastic is shiny and doesn't get scratched easily. He can also be contacted easily via email. That's all I can say with this maker. One of the best.
  3. Looking sharp bro! I hope you have plans to submit for the higher levels like EIB and Centurion. Regards!
  4. Hi Stuart, I am using Imgur in order to upload photos here in the forums. Just create an account via Imgur then upload away. Click insert other media on the lower right of this screen then choose insert image from url. Use the direct link of that photo from imgur and paste it there. And you are done! I hope that helps.
  5. Congrats and looking forward to your submission for the next levels. Cheers!
  6. That's the spirit! Cant wait to see your EIB application once you're a registered official TK!
  7. Nice build! Aim for the next level Greg! Good luck!
  8. Hi Simon! Congratulations! Now forward to becoming another Centurion for the empire! Cheers!
  9. For Tropical countries like where I live, wearing balaclavas outdoors is a bit of a problem. It does make you sweat more and fog your lenses quickly if you don't have any fans installed. But if you're gonna wear one, make sure it doesn't cover you nose or mouth so your warm breath wont contribute on the fogging. Cheers.
  10. Nice build! You have done a remarkable job to make that armor fit you. Don't worry about the minor adjustments needed to be done because you are on the right track! For the belt placement of my armor, besides having snaps to support the plastic and canvas belt, I have some white velcro below the ab buttons so that the belt wont sag and maintain the alignment with the last button. I hope that helps. Cheers!
  11. Hi Dave! You can use Imgur to upload photos here and share your progress pics. Just make an account and copy the direct link in your posts. Anyway, we are all excited to see your build. I think its quite normal to feel uneasy if its your first time trimming armor but I always keep in mind to measure twice/thrice then cut/trim. Its better to under trim than over trim. Good luck with the build! Cheers!
  12. Hello Jacob, First of all welcome to FISD! The link that was given by Joseph is very helpful. I went through this list and did my research before i decided to assemble my first armor. You can contact each one of them for clarifications on the kits they are offering. Hopefully you will find the armor that suits you most. If you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask us. Cheers!
  13. Well, you can try sending him a follow up email. Normally he responds immediately when he is not busy. Good luck!
  14. I think your boots can pass as long as you paint it well. Show us some of your progress photos here. Goodluck bro!
  15. Looking good bro! Cant wait to see your submission photos. Good luck!
