So to those of you with this armor and the anovos standard helmet: Repaint the helmet or did you find matching paint? Would rather not repaint the helmet. Suggestions?

It surely is but i am confident to be able to bring something together although it probably won't be as good as those of established members.

Asking this may make me look like an incompetent idiot, but as this is my very first TK build, i would like to ask if you could post a photo of this please? I am not 100% sure if i understand correctly. Also, adding a new seam is no problem with the 501st CRL?

Same as sanding but with wet sand paper using very fine grit... i checked out some YT tuts on it and there is no magic involved. But by hand it takes forever for so many parts i'd think. Not looking forward to that

Thanks for the review, following this thread! Love the sculpt but what bugs me most, as with the original images, is the size of various parts. eg the legs seem a tad too big and too long. Also, you didn't use velcro for the handguards which is apparent in the pic where you can see it coming off when you are holding the gun. Any reason for that?

Wet sanding by hand? How long did it take you? Which grit did you use? Asking because i see myself in that position in about a month or two

I see. This means it is limited to 501st members only, right? So i am about to join my local garrison very soon (with a different costume. No, it's not Kylo ). I am in touch with our guys very frequently and they don't know about kits yet. So i guess my question is, will i get access to more options, once i joined a garrison? Or is there a way to get in touch with an EU armor maker before that?

Yes, i have checked every checkbox there. It also worked when i registered for a week or two. Then it didn't and i haven't changed anything I also added the domain to my safe senders list so that it would not be marked as spam or something.

Yeah i am going to Mod it to make it tighter. Going to remove about 1cm on each side and place the velcro on an inside band, so the seal closes more seamless, without overlapping

I ordered their deluxe neck seal a while back. Its good but even the medium is pretty wide. Wider than is stated on the website. I would go small if it were available.

So i came up with a rough measurement 25cm x 15cm x 3cm should be a reasonable size, comparable to what is seen onscreen. On another note: Thanks for this picture, also helps to get a feeling for how huge the blaster actually is. This way i can tell that modding the nerf gun is no option for me, as it is way too small.
