  1. I placed an order with HFx a week ago. I understood there was a 7-10 day lead time but, I have never received an order confirmation nor can I get them to answer emails or Facebook PMs. Is there any other way to reach them? Or is this normal for them? I would just like a confirmation that they received my Paypal payment that's all.

  2. Mark is the owner of AP (Authentic Props) he's an armor builder. Nice guy also. He's just suggesting you look elsewhere even if it's not with him. He's just trying to help steer the new guy clear of any troubles. There is plenty of info about armor makers in the "read this first section"

  3. And the feedback I'm getting from RS is that their PVC is more durable for trooping in. I'm way confused now. I have a basic understanding of plastics and understand that ABS is more flexible but the PVC should be tougher. Lucky for me I am very cautious when it comes to my collectibles toys, clothing, whatever. I can seem to make almost anything last forever. I just want the best there is and I don't mind paying for it. But I want to make a wise and informed decision before spending that much cash. The PVC just looked cool to me because its brighter. My biggest concern is after I have it which one will be easier to repair if the need arises.

  4. I've been talking with Andrea at RS for a few days now about an armor build and I believe that I'm going with the PVC option due to her suggestion that it would be more durable than the standard ABS construction plus it is whiter and shinier than ABS. My concern is will the PVC be as detailed and sharp as ABS? anyone want to chime in with their own suggestions?

  5. I'm planning on buying my very first armor very soon and I'm almost sure that I read somewhere on here that RS Props commissioned full builds were centurion approved out of the box. Am I correct in that or did I misread something in all the forum post I've tried to absorb over these last few weeks? I'm new here and just don't want to order armor that costs so much if I'm going to have to modify it to get approval. I'm buying because A. I'm impatient and B. I want nice quality. Plus I work so much that I really don't have time to build right now. Thank you all
