  1. Angie whatever you choose I support. This place is about experimenting (yay science[emoji23]) with different theories, and rising up and meeting the challenge. Just as every other experience there's going to be highs and lows (honestly there's more good times than bad) so far. It's not about being right or wrong in your decisions- it's about learning, doing what makes you happy and team support. Echo is working on fulfilling orders - he posted recently so you just need to wait a little longer. Yes, on occasion there is playful teasing but it's out of comraderie and nothing more. PS - I have a few ideas for your frown screen which you might like - I just have to do a few experiments first (evil sinister laugh)[emoji23] PPS - I may end up painting the inside of my bucket later - I'm just one of those people that has to try before squashing and idea. Cheers lass and glad your charity event went well.[emoji106][emoji12]
  2. Yes the hooks are for the elastics and were used in ANH - you can see them when Han is sitting in the control room with Chewy and the Boss's kid
  3. Positioning and anchoring should prove interesting though
  4. Yes the adjustment knob fits - even with my big heed [emoji23]
  5. Thanks mate - yes it is! Good eye[emoji106]
  6. That is an excellent idea! If those ever come apart I will add snaps to them as well - cheers and thank-you!
  7. 3,557 feet - [emoji23] (The actual answer is about 8500 feet)
  8. Boils down to thickness of abs [emoji23] pun intended lol
  9. If you're referring to the shoulder bridges/ straps use "Tony's Hot Tub Trick" - bring a large pot of water to a boil (197*F) - putting one in a time let them take about a 5 to 10 second dip then take it out and start to shape - repeat process until desired form is achieved [emoji2]
  10. Awesome find Dan - oober thanks for the heads-up!
  11. Really great progress and good job with that paste!
  12. That's so awesome! Wicked job!
  13. Size looks good, how much space do you have between your arm and the armor?
  14. Absolutely deadly work with that liner mate and awesome progress with your build!
  15. And... got to start working on snap plates finally!
  16. My hard hat liner with tension adjustment and it fits nicely inside
  17. Worked on the other kidney notch today as well between other clamping and gluing.
  18. Completed inner velcro attachment for other shin using a 3/8" abs strip glued to a 1-1/4" abs strip, both sanded with a 120 grit sandpaper so the glue has lots to adhere to. After 24 hours of cure time I put on the velcro with more e-6000 and again allowed to cure for another 24 hours. Dry fit...
  19. Bicep hooks - 22mm wide bent using the heat gun - now glued and clamped
  20. Hey watch what happens when I say..."Heat gun": http://youtu.be/i5ktzF0s19Y Relax - just making hooks for the biceps and getting some exposure with it and abs
  21. That's awesome news! - I did purchase some bicycle helmet padding with air pockets which might come in handy - I really enjoy the experiments just wish they didn't take so long to process [emoji23]
  22. I really liked the idea of more ventilation. Which brings up another good point about your helmet - airflow inside the bucket. Being an HVAC guy lol I believe the reason your bucket is more comfortable is due to your hard hat liner inside allowing for air to circulate more freely rather than being blocked by bulky pads. So I now have a hard hat liner as well - Dan did you anchor yours with Velcro or how did you go about it eh?[emoji23]
