  1. If it was me I'd not mask them at all, paint everything. Then finally I'd either hand paint them (which I did) or mask the blaster around them for spray. Rather than masking the complex shape of the track mask the simple cylinder like you have above, but last.
  2. Dude, I used a can a half of the big primers from Halfords. That toy sized one is no bueno.
  3. Yes, but it wouldn't look good unless you use a resin printer (IMO) as there's too many small thin areas. I think I used the sight front from this one on mine before I modeled my own https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:868160 Might be worth a go if you have access to a printer.
  4. No I have one, but if no ones making them I could buy a Mag (a real one) and make with the hacksaw and silicone.
  5. I think ShearTech or Imperial Warfighters may do them, if not sounds like there's an opening for a new maker and I may need a sterling mag lol
  6. Voted. 6, 7, 8 is possibly doing it's self a disservice as they are all so similar any vote for 1 is really a vote for all and it just waters the vote down.
  7. They appear to be a legitimate business. The company number matches whats on Companies House and searching on google maps shows a retail shop with the names from the website on the property at the address on the website. Whether the stuff they sell is legitimate is a separate concern, and "too good to be true" would be my go to. That said could be a clearance retailer, there's a fair few about. Maybe contact them to see what comms is like, in case of any issue. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/06197115 https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.3423936,-1.5788785,3a,75y,83.7h,94.37t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sIq5XKt8dXCGIoYK7tN4xUA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en
  8. I still really want one of those Mk2 helmets, just need to stop the kids spending all my money!
  9. Anovos colour comparison by Christopher Pearson, on Flickr TM is a pretty decent match, not perfect but none will be. The ESB hand guard is TM. I took photos in warm sun light and also flash as the colours react slightly differently and may show more in one. I don't have a image of RS yet, I'll try get one next time I troop with someone with that armour.
  10. The helmets are warped, it's how they are. Post a picture and some one will be able to confirm.
  11. Shouldn't be that hot, warm it enough to flex not melt it. I'd probably just chance it with my fingers, then moan they got burnt!
  12. I used a lot of brute force and ignorance on mine. I also superglued my fingers on and had to sand off the prints IIRC so maybe don't do that. Maybe dunk the part in a mug of boiling water before applying? I also seem to remember mine being about 1/4" 6mm ish wide, your's looks a lot wider than that.
  13. Have a read of this thread as a starter, if you have some more specific questions fee free to ask. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  14. If you go look you'll find they are not on the list anymore.
  15. Given the size and cable restrictions I'd start by looking in the chest plate where a lot of people put the speakers for their audio system. Might mean you can't do both but I'd say the pump is significantly more important than audio. Second choice would be the back plate but cable length might be and issue. Not sure I'd trust having it outside the armour incase it pinched the insulin line. Usually we do take breaks at least once an hour but in your position I wouldn't want to depend on it.
  16. If you’ve not already done so have a look at the thread of armour and where to find them, should be pinned in this forum I believe. Also a quick search on both should reveal the answer you seek. There’s many other options than those 2 also depending where you live. My preference would be to spend more on the better armour, that is known to clear by any Garrison over the controversial one that has only cleared by a few and is more work.
  17. That's just a shop, it's not the maker. I'll try find it out.
  18. The way those boots are fine with the soles as is. Just deglaze them and then paint them and you'll be golden. Last time I checked you can still get the same boots as they used in 76 but I can't remember the makers name.
  19. Thanks for clearing it up Paul.
  20. I'm not able to reply to the newsletter when others seem to have been able to.
  21. People have done. I considered it and then decided it would be a massive pain in the a very impolite person. The resin is a good 3-4mm thick then there's a PVC tube in there as well.
  22. I use the same setup Ross demos in his video and haven't had a single issue with single snaps. That said I know some/many have so maybe I'm the unicorn here. There's a lot to be said for using a quality snap though.
  23. Weird how long the seem, they also look reasonably balanced front to back. Did the armourer make a suggestion? Check with the AT team before but I suspect just cutting a ridge or 2 off and adjusting might be all you can do. Looking good otherwise though.
  24. Have a read through this https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/ RS will be fine, though Shepperton (aka SDS) often requires more work. You haven't filled out your profile, but depending on where you are there's a lot more options.
  25. I always find it off putting when Vader doesn't sound like Vader, but for a line TK the accent doesn't matter. I suspect the same will go for Phasma. Tramp has been working on a system with a glove that activates preset sounds/phrases. He also does one with a 4 button remote but that would probably be far less practical to use.
