  1. This is due to limited cash flow. I even left it open to repay all donations, but alas it is slow going.
  2. Wow! I heard about this from my local garrison and checked into it. I am unfortunately not capable of doing it all at once so I had some friends and family convinced me to do a gofundme for it and well I may be waiting Longer. Oh well, eventually I will get the funds for it.
  3. Tim yes and no. I'm getting to see the differences in the buckets. So do you also change out belts? I know they are attached or do you have two separate sets of armor? So you have to go through EIB first to apply for Centurion?
  4. David it does and having the side by side really does help thanks. Tim that makes sense having separate buckets. I thought there were differences in the armor between EIB and Centurion though?
  5. Thanks Joe are there any links here about for the hero? Bone that too is helpful I've made up my mind so far as the armor just looking for the right type. From what I have been able to gather I fight the proper screen physique, 5'10" and roughly 175-180 lbs.
  6. Congrats! I'm new here but I'll through a couple of credits worth of thought April 10th 11:38 am.
  7. Is I just me or is anybody else sort of glad to see the new armor smiling?
  8. Good tip I'll have to rmlemember this one. How much was the white?
  9. I was looking through those and was part of the reason for the question because I wasn't catching the difference. I would like to go for centurion, for I do enjoy a challenge.
  10. So far I am, though others I feel sort of like I'm studying for my doctorate thesis. I guess part of what I don't quite understand is the bumps on the ears. Yes I will have to print many things I'm sure. Thanks for the quick response.
  11. So I am pretty sure I want to go with ANH tk armor. Perhaps its that little boy in me sitting in that theater that was amazed by the troopers. Though I'm finding it unclear as to what bucket I would want. I understand there are differences between the hero and the stunt. However I'm not sure I understand the difference between them.
  12. Oh ok, I know there are differences but haven't worked out how to tell the differences between them yet. RainTrooper I think you are the first person I've seen from our neck of the woods pop up here. I know there are others. You're just the first one I've come across.
  13. This is quite the visual reference guide. So being new here is this ANH armor? Thanks for posting these this will be very handy when I get to my build.
  14. I think I may need help mostly with what armor will be best for my build. I think I read somewhere that ATA would be good for me.just not sure. Thanks for the tip on the squirreling the funds to the side.
  15. Thanks Snaps I think I have seen that amongst the posts too.
  16. So would ATA armor be good for me I think I fit the rough scale of the "standard". I'm 5'10" and around 175-180 lbs.
  17. Sly that is sort of what I am thinking as well. Just get to it and it will be good. I'm also close to my local garrison if I need the hands on help. Razor, thanks for the link I was just looking for that list. I think I'll pass on the fan system in the beginning but I'm sure it will come in handy later. Being in the PNW we have a pretty moderate climate.
  18. This is true. I will mist likely make it a squirrel job. Thanks.
  19. Ah ok I was just thinking if this was possible even though it would stretch out the time of the build it would also grant me the time to not be overwhelmed. That and it would allow me to focus solely on the pieces I had on hand. Such as if I got my bucket first I could spend time focusing in the detail of it. I can hyper focus but sometimes I get to the point where I feel I need to do it all at one time and then end up putting all aside.
  20. I'm asking because I have seen several posts here that refer to replacement parts. Thanks in advance.
  21. Perhaps this is an odd question and not sure if it has been asked before. I'm on a really tight and unforgiving budget with that being said, is it possible to build armor piece by piece or can you only find it in sets?
  22. I would to dread mine, but alas the work life doesn't approve and it would be difficult to cover.
  23. Ok yeah the post that Joe mentioned above I just found. Luis I haven't quite decided what way to go with armor yet. Still researching and reading. By reading I mean researching my masters thesis.
  24. I was just asking about this as well. Mine hangs to my elbow, but if I straightened it out it rests near my lower back/upper waist.
  25. Thanks Joe. Yeah right now it's about elbow length. I have time to work through it though as I am still looking and learning about the different types of armor and all that.
