    My Trooper Armor Crate

I'm looking for opinions on applying weathering like these on this thread or leaving it clean. I'm undecided.

It’s really a personal preference. I’m a fan of light to medium weathering.

Your crate (which looks great btw) will also naturally weather over time as you drag it in and out your car, to events, etc.

  2. I think the belt sander was the only thing I bought specifically for my TK build.

Reflecting though, I’d have bought a decent knife sooner. I used a couple of cheap knives initially before finding the perfect Stanley BigMax knife for me.

The other thing is people talk about not enough clamps, but you can never have enough rare earth magnets either.

Apart from that the only things one can’t buy: time and patience.

  3. G’day Ian

I’ve just replied to your post over in Knightfall, but good to see you here!

Looks like you’ve already been given a good few starting links. Most of your parts will come from OS, however your under suit and building supplies can be sourced locally.

Btw, I’m the FISD attaché to Knightfall, so please do reach out if I can be of help too

  4. I do our roster maintenance a couple of times a year.
Feedback from legion is several detachments do not do their maintenance remove retired members and adjusting their access.
I wonder when the JRS roster was actually maintained last??
They could be living a false dream if it hasnt been touched in a few years.
Its a monumental task to for the record. I spend at least 5 hours each time I update ours, not fun, so I understand when dets don't do it.

Perhaps a controversial topic, but I’d love to see more garrisons spending time auditing their members for costume quality and, dare I say it, ownership too…

Haha, I “upgraded” my printer which lead to other issues… such as it not working

And then I got distracted by another costume build

I should be back to this one in a couple of months though.

  6.
I looked at several options online, and that particular product seems to only be sold in 4 oz. (113 grams) bottles for $15.00 or so.  Since I will need a lot more for my Anovos armor I Googled "Stabilized 40 volume cream developer" and ordered a gallon of the product (albeit a different brand) for less than $17.00 on Amazon (link here).
Strange thing is that on the Anovos armor the majority of the yellowing is on the INSIDE.  As soon as it arrives I will be testing it out (inside first) and will post up here with results.

    Fantastic! Thanks Joseph.

I could make some comment about the inside yellowing first, but this is a family show lol

I’m amazed how quickly my Anovos armour is yellowing (not to mention stress cracks). It’s not exposed to UV much and stored in the crate when not in use, yet I’m still seeing minor discolouration.
