1. Congratulations and welcome to FISD David! Glad to hear your aiming for Centurion!
2. Now your talking!
3. Welcome to the FISD Matt! Lots of research goes into making a great set of armor. Good Luck Future Trooper! If there's something you can't find. Just ask. We're here to help.
4. Congratulations Albert! Might I recommend starting with the arms. It's easier to work with to get the hang of glueing the pieces. Those parts are usually trim and glue. The thighs are a little more involved. Plus you can run around with your arm's and biceps on sooner! Good Luck Albert. Walt makes a nice kit. See ypu in the Advanced Tactics section soon!
5. I added a note in your abs paste thread also. Good Luck Shawn! Almost there!
6. Let me add to ease clean up. Put 2" blue painters tape a 1/4" away from seams on both sides. Smooth abs paste on seam. Then remove tape. Then your left with a nice seam to sand down when dry.
7. Awesome job Rick! Plates look great!
8. Post a picture to get more eye's on it for you. But that is the size of the strips. Did you tape up the pieces and dry run them first? With undersuit on. Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk
9. For a butt joint with a 15mm coverstrip ypu will trim each half down to 7.5mm. Does that answer your question?
10. Pack looks awesome Robert! Well done!
11. I should add. Gaps between limb pieces not torso. Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk
12. You should be fine. Just think you won't have to trim length so your halfway there already. You'll just have to evenly space the gaps between pieces.
13. I tried it and as Eric said, a lot of feedback. I tried moving things around. Added a cable to receiver to separate it from Icomm. It worked fine with just the Aker though. I gave mine to a Biker in our garrison.
14. Looking good so far! Love the beveled coverstrips. Great attention to detail.
15. Hi Ethan, good question. For the arms 15mm strips are used. The legs are 20mm in front and 25mm for the backs are the preferred sizes. Some Troopers will need wider strips. Just keep proportions close. Eg. Dont use 20mm in front and 50mm in back.
16. I've seen some Troopers wear the top inside out to hide any brands.
17. Everything causes cancer!
18. Don't start changing cause I said so. Wait the review. I could be crazy! Who knows! Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk
19. They got me on those two points. For me the fix was, put the fork down fatty. Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk
20. Looking good Shawn! As noted by Joseph about the rivet. The ammo pack needs to be mounted lower in the formed edge. And Sly and Tony might want you to close the gaps on your sides between ab and kidney. Love the weathering and your pack, obviously!
Looks like #6 is coming!
21. Welcome to the FISD Jeff! Great choice with going HWT!(Totally biased here) Good Luck Future Trooper!
22. Let's leave the Beach Boy's combing for droids. We'll handle it!

P.S. I think most of that Orange is Sun Tan lotion.
P.P.S. Still looking good Robert!
23. Looking good Robert! Love all these new pack's coming together! I'm calling it early, 2017 the year of the HWT! The more the better, the more at Centurion even better!
24. They would be on the shim. You can fill those holes with abs paste. Sand and polish will make it good as new.
