Yes, Doopydoos is in the UK, but I had ordered a Hasbro upgrade kit from them a few months before, and it took only 9 days! I must say that I am VERY happy with the full kit. Apparently they have done some upgrades, and I have only had to do a few small gap fills. The only thing that really bothered me was their failure to answer emails. Otherwise, very pleased!

Hi! I am looking for a source that sells ANH Hero grappling hooks. Metal, plastic, either one. I have the GH box on the way, but am having a CRAZY hard time making the actual hooks. I had a machine shop look at the design, and they wanted $450.00 to do them. (Seriously). The rest I have complete. Any help would be great!!! Thanks! Joseph

Care Bears armed with E-11s. Sounds like a dangerous combination to me.

Correct ANH stunt ab plate/bucket colors...
justjoseph63 replied to justjoseph63's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
Much appreciated! -
Hi all... Just a quick note for all those who order from Doopydoos... Be patient! I was more than a little miffed when after 28 days my order had not yet arrived, so I contacted Paypal to open a dispute. (They don't provide tracking numbers). I had sent them several emails after 20 days asking to find out the status, but received no replies. Guess what happened.. the very next day is was on my front door step! I guess what I am saying is to hurry up and wait, but in the meantime, follow the GREAT posts/tutorials on here, and get everything ready to go. You will be glad you did! Best of luck on your build! Joseph

Hi! Well, still waiting on my AM 2.0 armor, and the last thing I need is paint... I have read the threads, and wanted to make sure these colors are the correct, up to date ones for my upcoming build, (I will be using Testor's paint): Black- 1147, Gray, 1138, and "French" blue 2715 for the tube stripes. I have the satin finish for the vocoder. Any help would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks again, Joseph

IMPERIAL BOOTS
justjoseph63 replied to TK bondservnt's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Got my TK style boots today from Imperial, and could not be happier! Fast, secure shipping with a tracking #, and great communication. (THANKS, Francois)! It only took 9 days to get here from China, and yet my Doopydoos E-11 kit was shipped 26 days ago from the UK and has STILL not arrived. Guess I will hurry up and wait some more! -
Haven't had real panther in quite a while... The taste always reminded me of something between bald eagle and manatee.
-
I will, Tim! But, it's great to see that there are people like Ian and yourself who are sticklers for detail out there... It's always nice to learn something new!

I appreciate all the info! I realize that I am "chomping at the bit", but I have completed all the "extras", (power cylinders, realistic Hengstler counter, wires, special paint, spring, scope lenses, etc.). I emailed them 5 days ago, and have heard nothing back... If it doesn't get here soon, I'm going to..... wait some more. haha

So the general consensus is satin. So be it! Thanks SO much for all the information!!!!

Hi! Can someone enlighten me on the correct sheen of paint for a vocoder? I have seen both flat and gloss, and want to get it right the first time, as masking it off is will be a pain, (but a labor of love). Thanks! Joseph

Thanks for all the info! I will give it another week, and go from there...

Grappling hook templates/info...
justjoseph63 replied to justjoseph63's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Perfect, and a GREAT idea! I never realized they were quite that small. Many thanks! -
Hi! I ordered my grappling hook box and needed supplies, but in the meantime I would like to start on the hook. (A big thanks to gmrhodes13 for the tutorial)! Does anyone have templates, or at least basic measurements for the parts? Thanks for any and all info.!

Using Plasti Dip for the interior
justjoseph63 replied to TK852's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
Wow, it helps to read all the different forums! I was thinking of doing this exact same thing with the plasti-dip. PERFECT info. THANKS! -
Thanks for the info.! The only reason I asked is that my last order from them only took 8 days. I have read on here that some of their packages have a). Not arrived at all, or . arrived in bad shape and/or missing pieces. Patience is a virtue, I suppose

Hi again! I was not sure which forum to post this to, but I was hoping for some input on Doopydoos. I ordered the E 11 kit a while back, and it was "dispatched on Dec. 22nd. 19 days ago. Is this unusual? They don't give a tracking number, so it makes it kind of difficult. Thanks for any information! Joseph

E 11 power cylinder area... Help!
justjoseph63 replied to justjoseph63's topic in General Weapons Discussion
PERFECT information, and exactly what I needed! PlayFulWolfCub's build is phenomenal, and that is the main one I am working from. I did not realize that there were transistors(?) beneath the back. Any idea of the size/type those are? Thanks again, you guys ROCK! Joseph -
Hi! I am about to embark on my DD build, and have done loads of research, but I have a huge question if I may.... Let me preface it by adding that all the build I have looked at are GREAT, but the main difference seems to be the power cylinder area. Some have the curly wires, some have no wires, some have cloth coated wires, et al. I intend on doing a serious mod, but want to do it the "right", (canon) way, in hopes of Centurion status way down the road. (I am going for ANH stunt if this helps). I haven't even received the kit yet, but have made about 10 custom pieces already and taken 27 pages of notes. This is going to be a long haul, but should be fun and well worth the effort! Any and all information (especially pics) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!! Joseph

Thanks for the help!!! Just PM'd Tino. Have a GREAT new year!!!!!!

Hi! I am hoping someone can help me in my search for about 4 inches of the cloth coated wire shown in the lower right photo. My apologies for not giving credit to the photographer, but I have downloaded about 120 reference photos for my build, and cannot remember exactly whose thread they came from. (AWESOME build, though)! Thanks so much!

Hi! Just watched ANH again, and noticed that one of the TKs was wearing what looked to be like a comlink with a 5x5 (?) white box instead of a thermal detonator, and thought it might be an alternative. (Dare to be different)! Still waiting on my the armor itself, but have everything else in place. I know to get certified that I must have the TD, but was thinking this might be something different to wear occasionally. Also thinking about making PVC wrist cuffs/holster, but was wondering what the protocol was for that. Thanks again for all the past and future advice!
