  1. Welcome aboard and good luck. Sound like you are right on track.
  2. There is not much you can do to make the helmet larger. I have a AM 2.0 helmet which is a larger helmet to begin with and there is very little room for glasses. I have to wear contact with my bucket.
  3. Ken, Yes, tkboots and imperial boots are very good for the TK uniform. Check amazon for the undersuits. Try to find one with no writing on the outside, there are plenty to choose from.
  4. Yes, as said before for centurion level and even expert infantry you will need to add shins. For basic entry just lengthen the straps. For more rivets check out trooperbay
  5. exactly what Allan said. I did mine like this but also added another strip on the inside for extra strength. Good luck!!
  6. Yes, as said earlier the belt should be fine. It can be there to just below the bottom of the button plate. I would not change it.
  7. Home Depot or Lowes will have them. They usually have a display chart for sizing incase you forget.
  8. Looks good!!! What did you use to "dirty" up your armor?
  9. Looks good!!!! BBB with white armor, nothing better!! Good luck.
  10. Just finished weathering my pack. Getting ready to submit for EIB.
  11. Welcome and Good Luck!!! As said before don't hesitate to ask questions and check out the tutorials.
  12. Yes exactly what Michael and Kai stated. Just from a quick glance that are a couple of other things that could be tweaked with your armor. Do you have any full pictures?
  13. Hi, As far as the hardware, yes Lowes will have a bunch, check A.C Moore or Micheal's for all the soft stuff (velcro, straps, snaps). You can also check trooperbay, he has a bunch of stuff. The thing to think about with the E6000 glue is it does hold very well but it can also come apart, not sure how the zapagap will do if you need to change a piece out or something. As far as cutting most things can be cut and trimmed, but then may have to have new returns made on them depending on the part. I would start with the arms and legs. The forearms can be trimed a little but do it on both ends, The thighs and biceps can be trimmed on the top, and the calves on the bottom and always with the same curves that they originally come with. The torso try on with the strapping and then go from there. Talk to guys in your local garrison they can be a world of knowledge for you and may be able to give you hands on help. A trooper and myself from my garrison are currently doing that with a new member. Keep posting on here and add pictures, these guys on here have a world or galaxy of knowledge to be able to help you. They did me on my first build. GOOD LUCK!!!
  14. Mine are 18, I went with AM 2.0 for my armor and fit fine. Who did you use? As stated above a shim is the only way for those.
  15. Welcome aboard. This is the place to be for your problems, As said post some pictures of your problems
  16. I used the dry brush technique and it came out great. Check you tube on either dry brushing or weathering, there are several showing toy blaster weathering. I used a silver paint and it came out great. Good luck!!
  17. I did the Hasbro with the Doopydoo conversion and it turned out great (least expensive way to go at this time). There are several tutorials on here to watch how they did the conversion. Check around for the hasbro blaster, even ebay. Good luck.
  18. Welcome to the FISD group. This is a great place to ask questions and get them answered correctly and fast. Don't hesitate to use the site for all information. Also, find your local garrison that you may join and talk with them. Good Luck!!!
