  1. I would probably do both, trim a little of the cod piece and the chest piece. If you do just one it may look odd when on.
  2. I use a large Husky rolling case for mine. I can't fit it all in the case. I attached hooks in the sides of the case and then strap strap the backpack on the top and one on the side for the long blaster so I can drag it all with me.
  3. They say, "Bad guys doing good things" NO I SAY GREAT THINGS, all while fulfilling our childhood dreams of being Stormtroopers.
  4. Here is a guide to help you: www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/41016-billgrams-the-one-stop-shop/ About half way down give you a comparison for the ANH AND ESB. The holster on the belt is on opposite sides also.
  5. I have ten on mine also. I did the same thing when I built my first TK.
  6. Yeah work from the shoulder down. Once you have where the biceps will be then check the forearms. This will give you the proper size for your arm.
  7. Tom is right on point. Wait until you have the rest of the arm complete before wanting to trim anything.
  8. Yes the new versions of the AM 2.0 will be acceptable. I have the AM 2.0 and it is a great kit, you will be very happy. I'm almost complete with getting ready to submit my photos for the next level now. Good luck!
  9. I've used all different ones. I like the 3/4" round by 1/8" thick magnets the best.
  10. I actually am using a snow board bag. It is open at one end and has a carry handle. I made a double thick felt lined cover for the blaster and then slide it into the bag.
  11. I put a strip on the inside also. I got .30 plastic sheets and cut them to size (larger then the cover strips) and glued them on the inside of the seams. Then I used the cover strips that come with your armor for the exact size strips for the outside. This will give the seems a lot more strength. The return edge on the top side of the forearms can come off also.
  12. That looks much better. Yes, there was too much over lap with the outer sections. A last resort is you could put just a little heat on the outside calf section in the back to have it bend just a small amount so it does not stick out over the inner side (it will bend in just a little). I've seen others do this with large caves. The fixes you did look good though. Good luck!!
  13. I did use a little E6000 on the inside of the helmet lip. As far as the seam, mine is in the rear of the helmet. Once you put the S trim on cut very small pieces (slivers) off the S trim until it fits just snug. You will barely see any seam if you do it this way. Good Luck.
  14. I trimmed my eye visor also. I made a template with .20 plastic and put the visors inside of them like a pair of sunglasses and attached them with screws to the helmet for easy removal if needed. As far as the helmet sitting on the head I used a hard hat liner for inside of my helmet and also have a chin strap to hold it tighter on my head.
  15. Yes you can use the same black as the vocoder.
  16. Never had this issue. The only issue I ever had was all the wires and the splitter needed to be hooked up before the program was started. Haven't heard of this problem yet. Are any other applications running in the back ground?
  17. Yes i'm running it also on my Iphone 4S
  18. I did the same thing Joe did. Good Luck.
  19. I had the same issues, I got this form Sarah from the Connecticut Garrison. Check it out. I stopped using the rubber gloves for trooping though and went to the nomex gloves with the flexible handguards. I have a pair of rubber gloves for photo shoots and upgrades. The e6000 glue just will not hold up for this job. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/37704-alays-anh-stunt-build-ap-first-build/page-6#entry515023 Good luck
  20. I agree with Ron, I use the Testors paint. This is still a little thin for me but after 2 or 3 coats its great and not going anywhere.
  21. The only way to do this would be to cut the returns and then glue a strip of abs across the entire back between the 2 of them, then blend the seam with plastic mold and repaint. Why do you want to try this? The CRL and the original way of making the TK have these as 2 separate pieces.
