suspenders to hold up all of the main torso parts, then chest & back over the suspenders.

Doopys get heavy fast, holding one for a few hours straight kinda sucks. Hyperfirm look cool and are super light and will rarely break when dropped. Doopys will loose a few parts when dropped. Kids love love to hold the blasters for photos. If they make pew pew noises like the Hasbro, you'll be a rock star. The Rubys painted black is kinda boring. I only holster that one while I'm also sporting the DLT-19. I have all of these and that is my experience.
I won't give any comments about details or accuracy and leave that to the pros. Troop on.

This was actually through my work in partnership with the local Astronomical association. Activities for kids, photos w 501st members and very large and expensive telescopes set up for everyone to gaze into the heavens...
I know more photos will surface. I'll post as I get them. It was a fun little event.

oh well, there's that then.

It's definitely a cheap upgrade that I may do myself. I'm just trying to prevent confusion over what's absolutely needed right now.
I agree with you man and have edited my post to be very clear that this modification is a personal preference. All good now.

That's cool info, but based on the CRL I don't think the neck trim should need to be replaced on the ANOVOS for Centurion.
The CRL says:
Neck trim shall be of an s-type profile rather than a u-type profile.
The ANOVOS trim is most certainly an S-Type profile rather than a U-Type. The stuff you ordered is probably more accurate, but that doesn't mean its required for Centurion. Until there is some official announcement about the ANOVOS S-Trim being insufficient for Centurion, I'd hesitate to buy new trim.
While it is true that no official announcement has been made, I know that the "rounded" s-trim is approved without a doubt. That and this optional source is $2 a foot causes me zero hesitation to buying new trim. I will edit my original post accordingly.

If I recall correctly, the short screws are to put the face and back together and for the lowest ear connection point. The long ones are for the top 2 ear connection points. I don't remember how many of each there are...

The takeaway here is that the Anovos s-trim is as good as it gets regardless of what's in the Centurion approval posts. Carry on...

In my opinion, the Anovos bucket is fine. Just needs a little TLC. I'm personally completely repainting and rebuilding mine as opposed to replacing.

I've always liked the Shadow Trooper... just be prepared to have everyone call you Darth Vader! I know the Tie Pilots get that a lot. Ive heard Imperial Gunners get called Vader too! LOL!
Looking forward to the build progress.

Saw so many progress pics and an almost completed suit today... Decided to get my ars in gear and do something. Rough trimmed every single part tonight. Next is edge cleanup w sanding and sizing and gluing.
Gonna also tear down and redo the helmet this weekend.
