Sorry for the lack of updates guys but I'm having issues post pictures here. I can't get the image tool to post pictures and it locks up on me.
I have the shins done and I'm working on the arms next. I know there is no return edge on the wrist end of the forearms. What's the verdict on the end near the elbow? Thanks.

Wow. Ok I haven't been here in a while.
Ok so yeah, This project is actually under way. Rough cuts are underway cleaning up mold lines and trimming excess ABS. I'll post pics once I have something worth showing or if I screw up and come crying for help.

The black and grey I found localy. The blue I had to order direct from Testors web site.

Totaly sick. Looking just like the statue.

Quick question for you guys. My kit is glossy ABS and as such I didn't have plans to paint the armor save for the buttons and helmet details. What do you guys use to prep those areas for paint and is glossy ABS acceptable for Centurion level or does the suit need to be re painted gloss white first? The CRL's only specify hand painted details if I'm not mistaken. Thanks.

I submitted it 2 weeks ago. There was apparently an issue that needed to go to deferral for a few days but it's all passed now.

Just got official approval. My DT is 501st legal.

Thanks, guys. Thanks Ryan.
The build thread was here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/25761-we-are-all-infected-tk-0380s-deathtrooper/
I have close ups of the helmet and some of the other parts there and I can put up anything else you want to see. This was the best full body shot I could find:
And the helmet:

Attended Walkerstalkercon at Boston this past Sunday. 22 celebs from The Walking Dead and various others were there. Alanna Masterson who plays Tara in season 3 almost tripped over her own table when she saw me shamble by. Seems shes a huge Star Wars fan and had to get a picture. Also, Meyrick Murphy who played The Governor's adopted daughter Meghan came over for a picture. Ming Chen and Bryan Johson from Comic Book Men were also there and were great to talk to. And of course I brought along a Jedi to keep me from eating anyone. If you get a chance to attend this one locally I highly recommend it. Its a fun convention. They estimated the crowd over the 3 days at about 15,000 attendees.

Thanks guys. Round 2 will be at Walkerstalker Boston this Sunday. I've submitted it for Legion approval so here's hoping. Here's a shot from the contest stage. I don't own this pic. I found it at Nerdcaliber.com.

Love those eyes.

Better than the blue but yeah a bit too green. I wouldn't do a repaint on it but tone it down in some places. The shade is nice there's just alot of it. I realy like what you added to that right aerator though. I may steal that.
Thats what i thought on the green. My GML said its great.... Not sure, i mean, It's green.... Honestly i will be glad to get past this, this one was not so easy. Alot of things to get right, and not alot of reference material.
Thank you guys for the input. it helps alot.
Thats just my preference. There is no one right way to do this and I think you did a fantastic job overall.

Very nice. We were talking about an all Death Trooper fire team in my Garrison as well. You guys look great.

Finished the suit and took it to TerrorCon in Providence RI this weekend. Saw Lew Temple and IornE Singleton (from The Walking Dead) who were both impressed with the costume. Lew convinced me to enter the costume contest and I took first place in the zombie category. Anyway. Shots from the Con. We had a great time.

The sign in picture 38 says "Warning". I wonder whats on the other side of that fence?

This is were things stand at the moment. With any luck I'll have the finished suit up Friday.

Some work on the chest and undersuit. I used snaps through the sternum and an inner shirt to attach ti and a second over shirt. I'll cut the ab and chest plates to expose this. I will also likely be putting some form of latex flesh under the ribs for more depth.

Thanks, Christian. I had some other ideas what to do with that hose but decided to stop where it was because it was getting too busy and I've actually gotten compliments on that part. The extruded part gives it a sense of wrongness, I think, and I hope makes it a bit unnerving. Shortening it might make it loose some of the idea that its damaged and doesn't belong that way. I wanted it to be prominent. It doesn't have to make sense. It just needs to be creepy and believable. Have a little under two weeks to wrap this up but doesn't mean I won't revisit some of this stuff in version 2.
And speaking of progress. Test fit for the fore arm reveal today.

Look at the flowers, Lizzy.
Awesome work.

Work today included getting the thighs zombified and base coated and for some reason dressing up a halloween prop for pictures. I also removed the old oversized black buttons on the ab plate and replaced them with 7/16 inch button caps to bring them more in line with current standards. Oh, and the prop is going to be used as parts for a later part of the build.
