  1. Thank you everyone for this opportunity. I would like to present my first five "Expert Infantry" trooper assist. All have worked at my shop and achieved Centurion status. Troopers Assisted: 1. 2. Question. I had helped eleven local TKs in our area in 2016 (all hosting armor sessions at my shop). Four reach Centurion in 2016 and one reach Centurion in 2017. All volunteer work and I even provided BBQ lunches and dinner (going for bonus points here). I have pictures to share if needed. Does this still count or do I have to start over for 2017?
  3. Thanks Rick! $41.87 a bottle....wow! Gimme your left overs!
  4. I stopped using Facebook and Picasa because they keep changing the image URLs. As a result, my images here would have broken image links. I have not paid photobucket. I just keep making new accounts and using the free service.
  5. What are you using Rick? Putty and hardener make and where did you buy?
  6. Friendly check-in because I spent the whole day reading this bible. =)
  7. Question for TFA FOTK approved troopers I know this has been discussed over and over on various talk threads and social media outlets. Now that this specific kit has been out on troops for over two years, what paint method worked best for your armor? 1. Having it painted professionally by an automotive body shop? Was it worth the investment? 2. Using the right spray paint available at most hardware stores? Did you have problems or success using spray cans? Any feedback and guidance would be helpful. I'm guessing after many troops, some troopers might be able to share some good or maybe even bad stories. Thank you!
  8. Hello Christian, I'm wondering what do you plan to do about painting the armor? I'm stuck with either getting it professionally painted or doing the spray can method.
  9. Okay.... after helping so many other people with their builds last year and getting my Biker Scout done earlier this month, coming home from Celebration Orlando, and finishing off the Silicon Valley Comic Con this past weekend . . . .. . LET'S FINISH THIS TWO YEAR PROJECT ONCE AND FOR ALL!!! Tonight, i'll be re-reading the CRL, studying again - UKSWrath's FO build thread, and getting all my armor / parts inventory laid out. Rick, where you at with your build buddy???
  10. I'm here to see Tony or Andrew's feedback on the boss! hahahhaha! This should be a slam dunk Paul! Early Congrats to Centurion!!! #Iwasthere!
  11. For ESB....it will need white backing tape then the blue stripes on top.
  12. Hello Brian, I have some items for help improve your application (especially when going to Centurion): 1. The left eye on your helmet needs to trimmed more. Its showing a sleepy eye look. Opening it up a bit will wake it up! 2. Bring the shoulder bells in a tad more. 3. On your next round of pics, have someone help close the lower legs to hide all the velcro. 4. Thermal Detonator: Remove your existing phillip head screws and install slotted round head machine screws. Looking great and good luck with your application trooper!
  13. Just wrapping this up for John. I believe he found matching spray paint at Tony's house. This is done!
  14. Hello Jacob, great progress! Just wanted to help improve the ammo belt. When you have a moment, please move the two covers closer to the edges. I had to redo several ammo belts after learning more about the correct placements. Here's a guide below One of the screen references. Keep up the great work!
  15. One Stop Shop! Great work collecting info into one place!
  16. Hello Bryan, I enjoyed watching this video.------------------ It gives me a lot of inspiration when I paint the ESB helmets. Hope this helps.
