Extremely saddened to learn of Terrell's passing. He's always been amazing to deal with when ordering parts and helmets.
I purchased one of his red ABS kits secondhand very recently and will be wearing it proudly.

That sure is a lot of things "wrong" with my kit that were about to be totally overlooked during my fiancée's first application attempt. She would have been approved if not for the thigh cover strip. For years we've had TKCs and ICNs get in for base (and Centurion) approval without some of the things Glen has mentioned, such as the shape of the shoulder bells and a screw in the back plate. To me that just looks like a flick of dirt or a scuff mark.

The kit has sold and will be shipped out either tomorrow or Wednesday. It's going to a Legion member in Missouri. I've given him the link to this thread and asked that he check in with the team here.

Hey all, sorry for vanishing. Long story, not gonna get into it here.
I'm in talks with some people interested in purchasing this armor. Unexpected things came up so I needed to offload this. The requested change has been made to the thigh cover strip, but you will be receiving a new set of suited up photos from whomever picks this up. I'll let you know who it is when the kit ships.
It was a pleasure working with you all on this CRL. I hope to collaborate again one day on a new project.

Ah ok. I may have missed it, but are the rivets listed anywhere?
The rivets are mentioned in the Centurion requirements in the red text for the belt and abdomen armor.

Also TD has two versions with TKC and neither allow ANH style.
I must admit I've not fully dove into this version but I'd gather should be TKC styled.
The ANH style TD (although inaccurate) can be cleared for TKC basic, but you would need the correct style for the higher levels. Since this costume is structurally identical to the TKC, I left those same requirements in for this CRL.

Yes, it does look like we need to adjust our cover strip. Here's the best shot of the bottom of that thigh that I could find. It's dang near impossible to look at that detail in game because you can't tilt the camera at the right angle to view it.
We'll get you a new shot of that armor piece and of Holley wearing the kit with the adjustment made sometime within the next day or two.

Sounds good! If we need to trim down and reattach the cover strip, we can.

Went ahead and added the ear stripes on our helmet.
Taking the rest of the CRL photos now! Everything should be ready to go at some point tomorrow after we get home in the evening.

Yeah, that's the right game. The models are directly extracted from the game's files. The amount of weathering on the models is what was intended to be in game... although it's sometimes hard to see in game play because of the lighting and environment.
I booted up my Xbox and took these pictures of my TV screen. On Felucia, in certain lighting, it's easier to see that this costume is actually pretty dirty.
Darth Aloha is right about the black stripe on the ear. Since it's seen in game, it ought to be seen on the real life costume.

The weathering and paint chips are in the same spots on every variant of TFU armor, so I used whatever reference I found which had the highest resolution - in this case it was the prologue Kashyyyk TK. The only difference between the KTK and the regular TFU TK is the helmet.
I also want to make sure we don't call it the "Phase III Stormtrooper".... that's an unofficial name coined by one of the forum members here. Lol

First post edited. I copied and pasted the text from the TK Commander, and removed all references to the blue markings. Another change I made was to make weathering a basic requirement for approval. I strongly believe that if one is to build this costume, it should be made to be recognizable as the trooper from the game. That will help this costume to stand out from the other basic white TKs.
I also decided not to include the holster as an optional accessory... because this trooper doesn't have one! And neither do the other TFU troopers, for that matter. I would suggest those CRLs be edited to remove the holster. That shouldn't stop people from adding one in later for trooping purposes - I just don't believe they should be present on the costume during the application process.

Sorry to revive this old thread, but I just built this costume. Is it safe to say this CRL would be green lit as soon as pictures of the costume are submitted and reviewed? I know there were some recent changes to the CRL of the TK Commander, from which this would pretty much be a copy+paste, minus the blue markings.
I'll be setting up the backdrop and taking photos tomorrow evening if everyone's on the same page as far as the costume requirements go.

I shaved off a lot of plastic early this morning and this is the result:
Still need to smooth down the cut edges with a sanding bit and trim down the size of the shoulder bells and biceps. Installation of the knee plate and thigh ammo strip will be next.

I've retired my TK Death Trooper (for now). I have since become fortunate enough to find a good deal on a complete set of RS Propmasters ANH armor. I made a few small adjustments and promptly earned approval from my garrison. I'll be adding to my kill count with this costume for a while!
7. Barbara Bush Childrens' Hospital Visit - Portland, ME 11/17/23
My first troop in the clean white armor brought me to the Barbara Bush Childrens' Hospital in Portland, ME. We were only in costume for about 45 minutes but it was a really positive experience. I hope to get more opportunities to do these kinds of troops again in the near future
