However this Thread is getting a little off subject it was about the AP Armor that i posted not the FX posted by Austin

Thanks Hawk Trooper for the advice , there are some folks here saying that is the AM guy off loading stuff he wants to clear quickly

Now I know your gonna say avoid it its ebay but there are threads on this site that could lead the people to believe that this guy is genuine sorry cant seem to copy and paste on my tab. deal is from a seller mypropscollection starts custom black ABS kit liken to storm trooper, but easy to find if you search under seller name.

hi could someone please tell me if the AMSTORMTROOPER HELMET is approvable by 501st it seems to be similar to the FXin that the ear bells are more vertical than rounded in shape. it may be a good start and upgrade the bucket once approved . could someone please let me know asap so that i dont let an opportunity pass me by

Hi everyone

Firstly my apologies I didn't realize there was an introduction forum and I have already posted, so please forgive my ignorance.

 

I am a new recruit member of the Terror Australis Garrison and would really love to get involved in the 501st - Trooping and fundraising.

 

However first I need to complete a build and get it approved.

 

Initially I'm interested in an ANH TK or a Snowtrooper ( and iI know I'm in the wrong place for that) a snowie I mean.

 

I am starting to talk with some of the members of my local garrison the Dewbacks and I have sent a few emails.

 

However at the moment I guess I'm after all the good advice I can get so hopefully their are people here who might be able to help me out.

 

I'm 5'10 90kg which I think is about 200lbs. Medium build I guess what I'm saying is I don't carry all my weight around my gut I have largish thighs and calfs

 

my questions are

 

1. what brand of armor would best suit me.

 

2. where could I get it.

 

3.Would AP authentic props suit my body type ( I have some possible options there)

 

4. I have a budget around 1200 aussie dollars completed

I'm new here so I do Hope that i'm posting in the right place. I was wondering if anyone could help me with locating a snowie hard armor back pack i could possibly get my hands on the rest of the armor but it is missing the back pack. I am also going to be getting a kit soon for an ANH TK but for that I am in touch with my local garrison in Adelaide South Australia. I am a recruit member of Terror Australis Garrison but like many others need to build a kit for full approval into the 501st. Please can anyone help
