  1. Oh it's there you just have to look closely...
  2. RS Propmasters put this hard plastic adhesive in the kit I bought. I am planning to use E6000 from all of the builds and threads I've read, but I was wondering if anyone has use this one and if they recommend it. ----------
  3. Maybe you could find a way to soften the connection of the fan to isolate its vibration. It might be easier than isolating the mic since that needs to be positioned accurately to your mouth. Is there a way to loosen the way your fan is attached?
  4. Great post. You really earned that blaster with sweat and toil. Looks very nice. Thanks for the in depth description of your process.
  5. Officially starting this thread for my build. Its my first venture into costuming and the mixture of excitement and sheer terror has fully set in. (A feeling I'm sure most have had at first). I want the process of crafting the armor to be big part of the experience so I plan to document every part I can. The forms and designs of the Star Wars Universe have always fascinated me. While making my Trooper armor, I thought it would be good to study each component through photographs in order to become aware of the nuances of its design. I chose to get my kit from RS Propmasters due to the accuracy to the films. RS does an ok job of letting newcomers know what are comprised in their kits, but to be honest I wasn't exactly sure what I was all getting until I opened the box. I figured including some of my study into this thread would be interesting to others like me who aren't familiar with the actual raw pieces that come in a kit. There are a lot of how-to's, in-progress and final photo's but not many photo's of the kits themselves. I also think these objects are beautiful in their own right. So, I'm photographing each piece from multiple angles and essentially cataloging my kit. Don't worry I won't put every image on this thread, but enough to show my progress. I'll set up a photobucket album with all shots for those interested. Basic Information on the Armor: RS Propmasters PVC kit Fully Loaded Strapping Pack (Includes Helmet Pack, Strapping Pack, Replica Belt and Latex Guards with Gloves) Here are initial photo's: Helmet Face, Cap and strapping pack pieces Hopefully not too annoying with all of the images. I'm just excited about the kit. I'll be editing my post as the build progresses. Thanks for your patience. -echo
  6. Thanks all. I'm very excited. And there will be many questions.. Haha
  7. I came home to the pleasant surprise of a Special Delivery!. My helmet and armor kit from RS Propmasters came today. It was very nice of them to send it with such care and accompanied by armed guards ; ) Ok maybe that's how I saw it in my mind when it was delivered. Here it is in my work area. And here's it is in all its glory... The helmet kit: The armor kit: I look forward to savoring every aspect of my build and ultimately getting the opportunity to troop in the community. -echo

  9. As long as you are wearing the undersuit and not just the thighs..
  10. I really like the rotational symmetry of your number Si. I noticed it right off. Funny the Bill and Ted's reference I thought of that too when I saw it. I have a number in mind and will be sad if its taken by the time I finish my build. It's a silly thing to be worried about, I know, but I can't help it heh. Sent using Tapatalk

  12. I find your lack of chewing disturbing.
  13. Great work. Hoping my build turns out this well. Sent using Tapatalk
  14. Great pics, thanks for the play by play of your build. Very helpful. For those preparing for their first time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I'm totally in the same situation, I've had the subscription from the start, but find I rarely play it lately. I want to support the game though because I'm hopeful they will fix and develop it further. They more people cancel their subs, the harder it is for them to develop.. Though I'm very close to canceling my sub too. Was kind of waiting to see if the hutt expansion is any good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I've been playing MMO's for over a decade. I started with EQ then to WoW and SW:TOR. Oddly enough I never played SW Galaxies. I totally agree that ToR is missing the right aspects for social interaction. Bioware totally missed the boat on that one. They focused on the single player story which as you say is fun to a point, but depending on how much you like to play RPG's can get old fast. I played through the bounty hunter class to 50 and raided with my guild. We had a good go of it, but it was clear the game has a lot of issues as an MMO.
  17. 41 and a father of two here and I'm just getting into it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The top hat reminded me of this print I bought at a craft fair over the summer.
  19. Five lines four spaces... It depends on how you look at it. Your helmet is the correct stunt type with 8 holes between the teeth. I guess if you are counting teeth when you consider when it's painted there are 9 teeth including the small ones at the end.. Don't have an ATA so not sure on the parts question. Happy building...
