Not sure when the next one will be, Neil, but keep an eye out on the boards. You will need to have your official 501st TK i.d. to order one, so get cracking on that build!
Like this one?

I went IComm, simple plug in and go although I am having slight sensitivity issues with the mic, RomFx is the preffered
choice in the UK and highly recommended but ive been on a waiting list for 4months now.
The gent that sells the Icomm was great to deal with too, quick delivery (to UK) and great communication.
-
I have an iComm + akar amp. both mounted in my chest piece and wired to a small mic in my helm
I'm finding that it pops and does the noises almost continually, regardless of what I'm doing.
Im getting the same issue as above with the same set up although im using the headset that came with the amp. It seems to pick up any noise near me and gives me the static
burst and yes I have the white line by the mic piece facing my mouth, I know there is no sensitivity rating so somethings up, im gona try a diffent mic next time.

Great work!!!
Would you be able to clarify which one you are in the paper cuttings though please...........

Neil, cool man! What stain are you going with? Have you seen his pouches? They're really nice too..just ordered a canvas shoulder pouch from him, hoping to utilize it at my troop this wknd. You'll love your new BFG!
Im sorted with pouches but yes they are temping and its hard to resist but I need the cash for the BFG, im going with the
Red, they all look fantastic though.

Hey bro..I've got one of Anthony's (TD-8266) T-21's and I love it! They are badass! That's whose link it is from the above reply..he gets them out to you pretty quick too, I think you'll like it. I chose the Dark Walnut stain, couldn't be happier
Thanks,
I got in contact with him and im hopefully on the list for the next run, they look pretty awesome.

Tried to have a look but couldn't log in/sign up, my email address it seems is in use but when
I tried to recover my password I get the old "whoops, something went wrong" message :-(
Ive emailed the admin so will have to sit tight for the minute it seems.

Hey guys, just to let you all know..................
I got cleared
after a few minor tweaks, im off for my induction this weekend and I think "nervously excited" is the phrase. I'll be learning to
spot first and then suit up. Just a shame my I-comm wont be here in time but I expect I'd have been concetrating so much
I'd forget to talk.
If anyone has good little tips on trooping, now would be the time!!!
-
Thanks UKG guys, I really appreciate your comments on this as I think you can view the clearance's pic's I submitted as armourers? I do also Respect Mark's decision and understand
the high standards required, what made me post here is that the research into what was right and what was wrong for this after hours of looking still didnt give me a deffinative answer of
what to do.
I have emailed Mark though so will wait for a respones on that.
@Paul, did you still have that lid available, may need it after all
-
As a UKG Armourer I concur.
Tell Mark he is wrong and include as many pics to prove it as possible.
if that fails bring it to Gary (89batman) or one of the cheif armourers ( cough Billhag) attention mate.
Thanks Matt, appreciate you replying, (and everyone else too of course!!!)
I have already emailed Mark with a couple of reference pics and explaination from RS so will just wait a reply on that, meanwhile I'll fix the other issue's and wait and see.

Hi Guys,
Could really do with some help/advice with this as I a bit stuck on what to do?
I failed to get clearance on a couple of things with my AHN Stunt and am fixing the issues now but one of the issues mentioned was the top screw on the right
ear being too low and close to the grey painted part. My lid is by RS who I used as I wanted an "built from original" and when I raised this issue with them they
said the screw position is right and the drill holes are in the formings already, so accurate?!!
My lid -
An origional picture from "The Dented Helmet"
This picture shows the screws being in different positions though - Top left looks right on the "to be grey" part.
Hmmmmmm,
Just not sure what to do, I wanted an original which is what I have but wanted to troop too which means moving
the screw up.
Any opinions or suggestions really welcome on this and I know there's some real experts here and im still fairly
a novice at this.

you may need to do some final adjustments yourself for the perfect fit.
QFT
I went and got measured and although the initial fit is very, very good I needed to tweak a few little bits here and there. Nothing major though, they fo a great job and you wont be sorry!!!
-
Hi, I went PVC for strength and the colouring issue, give them a shout. Their 2 nice guys to
deal with!!! Good luck.
-
I worried about this at first and went with PVC as its "meant" to be harder wearing (time will tell), Im also re-inforcing
parts that I think need it...... But I do realise that IT IS going to get bumps and scratches along the way and I'll just have
to get over it and maintain it with running repairs when needed..........
-
Great choice, I could'nt be happier with mine......
-
Im on the Rom/FX waiting list, going for the Pro myself.
-
Thanks guys, the elastic straps for the shoulders are there, I just didnt wrap them around
As for the back of the thighs there ok and not to bad but yeah, a bit more sanding is a good shout. I'll also
have a good look at the belt situation.......
Im also tinkering with the idea of adding a chin strap at the moment and just waiting for my rom/fx pro email.
And im only 5ft"7 so maybe should of gone Hero eh?
Thanks for the feedback though guys, much appreciated
-
Hi guys, he's some pics of my newly build RS PVC armour, just need to tweak a few things but before I put in for
clearance so any feedback would be great!!!
The missus thought I looked cute Not quite the comment I wanted when trying to be a slightly intimidating Stormtrooper!!!
-
Hey guys
Im looking at mixing some PVC armour with an ABS bucket. Has anyone mixed these two types
of Plastic?
-
All valid points so thanks, glad I found this place to get expert opinions.
