  1. From Hero to Zero... looks like I did something really bad, I didn't mean offend anyone ( SW1 and Billhag ) buying something that to my eyes looked like a real bargain.

I am sorry for what happened to Paul ( I guess he's your friend and the TM maker ) I don't know much this field.

It's a promise recover to this fault as soon as my finance can permit me to afford a real TM this time.

  2. Thanks to all of you. I got a TM (giggles)

I am feeling so welcomed in a group of strangers (for now), sorry for that but actually I know any of you.

I would fix my armor sasp to start troop and meet each of you guys....even though I know that needs lot of time to find the right armor setup.

I need to add some velcro and strings, remove some hot-glue issues (not my fault) here and there and wait for some stuff already ordered to refine the look.

In the meantime I start dyeing my black chelsea boots ( I was reading that for the shooting were black painted white) and the pouches.

My only concerns are about the weapons replica here in UK and the latest laws, if I can buy one without offend "Someone". (5 years behind the bars) :)

@Billhag "our obsession is our passion" ^_^ *old o'neill adv cit

  3. Actually both eyes are so, even the green lenses that I found are thicker more than the normal ( 0.3mm and they look like plexyglass ) were bent before applied to match with the helmet shape.

For now I removed those, in order to fix some stuff inside like adding a liner and lighter lenses.

I mean the whole helmet looks slightly asymmetrical. Like casted on an hand made mold.

If you have a look at the picture that I posted at ,the right lower lid is different as well as the top left eye corner.

I'll post some picture about that later. ^_^

  4. Ciao Ruggero. Good to have you with us. Nice job on the weathering!

It's not my job, I bought the armor already weathered from a german guy. It was exposed in a Cinema for a while.

I don't even know which kind of armor it could be.

I notice several imperfections in the eyes shape, thing thal let me think about a good armor.

I am start fixing some errors in the assembling.

  5. Hi all.

my name's Ruggero and I am based in London, even though I am Italian.

I am an aspiring Sandtrooper, and I just received my armour (used and already weathered) the last week.

I don't know which kind of armour I bought, but I am so proud of that. :)

I was wandering through all the topics around this amazing and useful forum, lots of tutorials and tips. Thanks everyone.

    Cheers,
