I can't speak to the DN kit..but I had the same issue with my Anovos kit back in the day. I just tightened up the strap between cod and butter and it pretty much eliminated the issue

I'm a ROTJ and honestly its quite rare that anyone from the public ever notices. And the ROTJ differences are far more pronounced than the ESB.

A split CRL would be cool!
The Deathstar variant would be the easist to nail down for a split out CRL. All those guys were pristine, had white soles,bubble lenses,TDs and holsters.
The Endor version has so many variables. All of the above mentioned re: TDs etc but also flat lenses/bubbles, some were weathered, some not. Some even liked to wear their chestplates under the ab plate...if we really wanted to be thorough!

These are fair and valid points indeed. But it somewhat highlights the issue of the holster. The majority of troopers did wear them, both on DS2 and Endor, yet its listed as optional on the CRL(or was at least when I built my kit..and got EIB with it)
.If we view it in a similar scenario to the TD..then should we bump it up to required now?

I always thought going without a detonator should have been an option. Similar to how packless sandies are allowed. There were a good number of them and liklihood is that they were ommitted for the stuntmens safety/comfort. Also the fact holsters are viewed as optional for ROTJs makes a compelling case for dets also being optional.
But I totally get the strive for uniformity.

It's always the same handful of folks from the same couple of Garrisons. Rarely matters what the topic is, but you can bet they just won't be happy .
TBH they have become white noise to me these last few months. I see a ceetain screen name and my brain automatically tunes them out.

The attitude from him is appalling! Wholly seperate from the recasting, his behaviour is more than enough for me to never want to deal with him. Or suggest his wares to others.
IMO the quality of the product is only part of the reason to choose a particular vendor. Their customer service, friendliness, business ethic and how they carry themselves are all just as important to me as a customer.
This guy is striking out hard.

It's heartening to see so many other vendors popping in here and elsewhere with words of support and encouragement. It shows a real sense of community.
A shame then at the direction the thread on the main forum seems to be taking. Last time I looked there were a couple posts that dismissed the issue and almost defended TMs actions.
I guess personal friendships can and will get in the way of morals and ethics...

But what would a Garrisons Command Staff really need to discuss and/or do behind closed doors? TM is not a Legion member so its not as though his membership rights or privileges are in any way impacted. And with the evidence presented its a pretty cut and dry closed case IMO.

The blaster appears to be the ESB style blaster. No chargers or counters.
Thats a ROTJ blaster. Though strangely upscaled!
The lid is a bit of a hybrid. ROTJ lenses and screwless ears, but pretty much ANH everything else.
These guys are a real curiosity! Shsme I didn't pay too much attention whilst slicing and dicing.

Presumably TM will now be removed from the Vetted Vendors list? Im a proud owner of a CFO kit, saddened to hear this. TM has always had a 'holier than thou' mindset and his attitude has been downright rotten at times. If hes been ripping off one vendor...I wonder if there are more?

I never really cared for these guys before, but the dude in the show really turned that around!
Whoever the stuntman wearing it is, his swagger and overall body language really sold this trooper as a real badass.

I've built most of my kits on the kitchen floor..and table...and chairs...and counters. I'm not the tidiest of buikders! Thank the Maker I have a VERY patient partner!

I am 'really excited' to see the discussion over which detachment will home these guys. Design cues from Clones to Praetorians to Phasma..an FN base, perhaps in universe they are an elite force that would put them on Spec Ops radar. Lets hope we also see them ride speeder bikes and drive Walkers!

Those guys were repurposed ROTJ suits and as far as Im aware a CRL for them has never really gotten off the ground.

My favourite has always been this guy, far right.
With that droopy brow trim, he looks so sad!( and he should be super happy seeing as he's just inherited a bowcaster!)

Just thinking out loud here...but would there be enough grounds to split the ROTJ CRL into two versions? Along similar lines to the ANH-S and ANH-H? The guys on the Deathstar,and the Landing pad had a good number of differences to the Grunts on Endor(lets call them 'stunts'?)
For example- DS guys were all shiny clean, bubble lenses, all holsters,all Thermal Dets; Endor guys were weathered, had flat lenses and a lot of them (too many IMO to be accidental omissions) had missing holsters,missing Dets, or were missing both.

Great to see another ROTJ!!
Although I'd usually advocate studying the CRL for new builders, in this case I'd recommend not doing so for the reasons already mentioned. I built mine years ago..and even back then the CRL was wonky. Best bet is to do as suggested and follow any recent EIB/Cent threads for advice.

ANH is arguably the prettiest( as a ROTJ I disagree!) , and it's probably the easiest kit to find a vendor for.
But at the end of the day, just go with whichever you like the best!
