Nice. Does this help keep eBay from getting a cut?

After it was done I used some krylon Matt finish but probably wasn't necessary to protect the blaster. More to keep the black from scraping off on armor.

I spray painted mine silver then used the rock salt chipping method then black with a light dusting of dark grey on top. Easy afternoon project and looks great enough for the money spent.

I found the template in it, which might be the first thing i'll do after cleanup
I'd sand down the exterior prices first like I described before you cut holes in the tube making it an uneven surface.

There's a template somewhere for how to drill the holes in the pipe. You should be able to find it easily. Take your time and drill pilot holes.
To fit the parts that glue to the tube wrap the tube in sand paper then slowly rub the part into the tube until it fits perfect. Remember to wear a mask while sanding resin. Should be easy to remember these days haha.
The trigger and the safety definitely need to be separated and the flash removed.

3d printed parts to me are more work than they are worth. You can use the red paste Bondo to fill and sand pretty easily but getting all the corners to truely look good is a nightmare on most projects.
My personal philosophy, granted most of my blasters aren't finished and I've never trooper, is have two blasters.
One for show and approval. Shoot for the moon and have your dream blaster. Get a field Marshall or any pipe build
The other for trooping need to be able to quickly be id'ed as not a weapon, light, doesn't break if dropped, and you won't feel bad if it gets stolen or confiscated. For that I think a painted rubies is the best bet. $15 and no tears.

Is it 3d printed? The best blaster in the market is still field marshalls available on eBay. You won't be disappointed. Buy once cry once.

I'm super excited to finally have one of these blasters. I can't wait to be home to play with it.

I've been out of the loop for a bit. Who is the best vender for the scope rail?

Wow those grips are pretty amazing. I love that the outside sandwich pieces are separate. And chance you're making just the block on the heel of the grip for those of us with trigger groups?
