I ID'd the retractable stock on the E-11SD (for lack of a better name) to a VERY close degree. I ordered one and when it arrives I will share pics. I posted a link in a thread I started elsewhere....
Also, if they are doing a run of the armor and helmet, please let me know, as I will put down a deposit as needed to be one of the first to get in. I want this ready for the premier!

So, it looks like we will have a bunch of new additions with the premiere in December of Rogue One. Some of them will be here, some will be in Spec Ops, such as the Death Trooper for sure, and possibly the Shore Trooper, as it is listed as being a "Specialist".
That being said, I want to have a finished DeathTrooper in time for the premier...does anyone know someone working on the helmet and armor pieces? I am getting the "Vader" belt buckle, and I have, or am in the process of making/getting, some of the other parts (Ammo packs, E-1SD etc. ).
Let's make this happen!

Simple and clever. Good work!

Is that a US Standard Tactical Bananna, or an EU Issue Bananna?

So here is my question...it is just a matter of time until they get out, so how do we get access to the studio's 3D files to print por own suits? I can get access to the correct resin powder printer if needed, It will just cost a small fortune. Then it is just a matter of having the original files.
Thoughts?

Welcome Sebastian, and it was a real pleasure meeting you and your daughters at Baltimore Comic Con! I am grateful for your kind words, and I am glad I was helpful and a good representative of the FISD and The 501st. I look forward to seeing more of your collection and following your progress!

I have a dummy Glock and we are building the 3D model. We hope to have a couple test versions soon...

Wow... that is super gracious of you! Not to mention your stock looks incredible! Only issue is we'd feel really bad about molding/casting and then profitting from your model.
We got ahold of one of these for pretty cheap and it fits the scale of our blaster... plus, it's functional, which is kinda nice. I'm pretty sure the ATI logos were filled in on the screen-used stocks, but there's no way to tell atm.
I dunno. We probably will see how everything looks by DragonCon (we'll be lugging the blaster around there!) and decide afterwards.
Hey JJ, what kind of 3D printer are you using? I have been using a Makerbot and have a HELL of a time with cleaning up the support structures.

I have sent emails since June and gotten no reply...
-
Anybody know how to get in touch with them? I sent them several messages recently on the website and have not heard back. I had gotten an email from one of them in response to a question a few months ago, but I can not seem to find it.
EDIT: Ah, They are/were on vacation. Anyone know when they are supposed to be back?

I have the 3D parts files, what I lack are accurate measurements. I've gone through and completely prepared the parts for printing, all I need is to scale the files. Any ideas, suggestions, or thoughts. And I purchased the files from turbosquid, I cant share directly.
Did turbosquid create those files, or are those (allegedly) from LFL?

Welcome! If you have not reached out to Brian Robinson (tkrestonva here on the boards) do so! He is in Northern Virginia, and he is THE Master Armorer and all around good guy. I look forward to trooping with you!
Cheers!

I am already a Shadowtrooper, but I will give this a shot at that price, especially if I can find my 10% coupon...

Check thingiverse. .stl files will convert easily.

Welcome.
Are you already signed up on the Tyranus boards?
Welcome Patrick, and what he said. We are in NoVA as well. Let us know if you have any questions!

I don't know, but the THG kit is $165 and is available HERE. The Hyperfirms are quite nice and relatively light weight. The detail on the THG's is sharper and cleaner, but they are a little heavier. If you need to hear about the quality of these blasters from a reliable source, ask tkrestonva (Brian). he has handled them up close and has no stake in them.

Hello Skyler!
I am in Northern, VA, and Garrison Tyranus has a STRONG presence in your area. We have one of the best Armorers in the entire Legion in Reston, VA, Brian Robinson (tkrestonva)!
I look forward to trooping with you!

I thought they said no more Hasbro Blasters?

I would LOVE to see the gaskets fan-made in an Under Armor like material before I get one of these.... I am sure someone is working on that as we speak...

That's a bit of misinformation there, the $350USD ANH TK kit is available for pre-order online until (I believe) May 4th.
Yes, but after Celebration, you have to pay for shipping. All orders placed at Celebration get free shipping and priority.

Also it says all pieces are lined. With what? Is that for the kit as well as the finished armor? What is the strapping/fastening system like? It seems vague on that.
According to ANOVOS's own description (Emphasis added below), it sounds like it may be a system where one half of Velcro is lining the plastic and the other side is the exterior of the suit, but I could be wrong:
- Two-piece arming suit consisting of long-sleeve jacket and pant that allows for easy attachment of armor pieces to body.
- Fully lined interior armor pieces.
- Integrated rigging system for armor pieces.
