  1. I'm going to try this route, still waiting for my armor to ship, let me know how it turns out, but I'll post my results in a build thread in a few weeks.
  2. Good luck! Best investment of time I made was three years active Army. Now a Veteran, getting my college paid for and getting an education. Best advice I got was: Be where your suppose be, on time, in the correct uniform.
  3. Think I'm going to go with the rubber spray, Easy on, easy off. Besides I don't want black paint rubbing onto my face haha.
  4. Same here, I thought maybe a white bucket would light up my face, and may be visible through the lens but i'm probably knit picking.
  5. Hivemind much? Spot on same thing I was thinking instead of paint. I found this at Michael's though. Supposed low odor
  6. I'm getting AP armor, and I wanted to paint the inside of my bucket, (Before trimming so it's not such a mess) Any recommendations as far as Spray paint? Ladyinwhite made a good point to me that the smell may be over whelming. So, any suggestions? I didn't find anything searching the forums.
  7. wolkenjaeger post any tips as you go along! I'll have my AP soon! Good luck!
  8. Awesome! Might want to pick up 2 from the discount bin too, just to have.
  9. From the 501st standards, you only need need to have a non-hasbro for Centurion certification. So I would figure as long as it doesn't look too chessy (which I'm sure yours will look good still) you should be good!
  10. O Duh, That makes perfect sense, that didn't even occur to me!
  11. So, while I understand that, It's just not really possible unless I find someone in San Diego or LA that would donate time/space/tools to help me with it, like I said before, I did talk to one person about making me a set, but they seem to have gotten busy, or forgotten. I'll just keep two eyes pasted to the sale thread, and hopefully run across something I can afford/use. Thanks for the advice.
  12. There don't seem to be many complete suits for sale, the only one I see is Madmartigan: Fully built TM hero + stunt suit, but the thread is locked, I sent him a message though, I would be willing to pay/wait for a built to order ESB suit that is up to 501st Centurion standard (or EI), anyone you could point me to? (Perhaps in SoCal)
  13. Is this not the "Ebay Armor:Have you found armor, helmets or props on ebay and want expert advice? Ask here. Post the auctions you've found for appraisal and advice." Forum? Did I misunderstand that? I'll head over and post in the New member forum now
  14. Here Seller is phaseher Any recommendations? This would be my first step into the Armor game.
