  1. Very good question, The reason It is that high was because I intended to build an Incinerator. Now because I was using those images, there was also just a plain regular TK ROTJ from TFU that was a blank white trooper. That is why my ammo belt is high. I intend in the future to transform this white TK into an Incinerator, just not now. If that needs to be changed, I will change it. Its just going to be more holes in the armor when converting it back to Incin. Edit: It's a very small edition, I don't mind doing it.
  2. STAR RAIDER Armour = AM Helmet = eFX (This suits the Incin. best. That's why it was chosen and it fits me.) Blaster = None (No Weapon) Height = 5'11 Weight = 155 Boots = TK Boots Canvas belt = Self Made (Stretchy Canvas) Hand Plates = Snowtrooper-style (AM) Electronics = Voice and Fans Neck Seal = (Self Made) Holster = None (No Weapon) Description: I have worked very hard to get to the point where I am at now. Please note the Thermal Det just has to be sanded and painted. The buttons are not visible becuase I plan in the later future to transform it into an Incinerator. NOTE: Helmet pictures will be added, I'm just waiting to receive it back from getting fans and com system installed. Thermal Det. Please read Description. Body Pictures: (These pictures are old, On my next trooper, I will get someone to get a 360 pictures.) Things that have been fixed after these images: - Strap between chest and back plate to tighten up the body - Hand plates are now sanded and curved so they don't cut anyone - Back piece is lifted, chest piece lowered. (Head is Tilted Down)
  3. Star Raider - Sith Meditation (Sith) Sunrunner - Sith Meditation (Trooper) Star Raider - Death Wind Corridor (Jedi)
  4. That's my point though.... I just don't understand Jimmy's sarcasm... Edit: Fixed my post. I think we can conclude this debate!
  5. 4) If you want, Sometimes the trim has a stick adhesive under the coating. Mine was old and when I warmed it up with a hair dryer, it didn't fully stick. You can try using epxoy glues, E6000, or Hot Glue. Since you wont be structurally supporting anything off the trim, hot glue has done me well. If you have a couple pieces to spare, try a little of each and see what suits you best. Pros vs Cons, White glue is clear, but isn't extremely strong. Most epoxy and E6000, Pros: Very Strong, Cons: Almost all have a colour that won't match the armor unless its clear. My instructions: 1. Heat the trim with a hair dryer on warm/hot till its nice and flexible. 2. Apply the trim to mold the shape. 3. Let is set to keep its shape. 4. Slowly remove a small section, heat it again, apply some glue to the inside, apply trim to armor and hold for a minute. 5. Finish the rest of the trim.
  6. I feel very offended by that comment. I'm going to wait till I get home before I further comment and check over my post to make sure I can make any changes nesscerey. Edit: I have changed my post above to better suit your comment. I hope that helps make things more clear. Edit 2: I know this is isn't a great back up, but I did find this... http://starwars.wiki...er_(Tantive_IV) Now how you interpret is up to you... It's not the same costume, just how Darth Vader talks. Introducing the first rank of a Stormtrooper... Edit 3: I have adjusted my post, again.
  7. As for this one, Its very possible the in game model, is irregular and has a slight bump in that area. Making the angle of view distort the perfect circulatory pattern.
  8. 1. This topic is de-railing. 2. The variation of the Stormtrooper Commander should be based on the PC game. It is the most accurate. (Taking a picture of a TV from the xbox should not be allowed as each tv shows a different color differently... Same with taking a picture of it...) --> This being said, maybe a standard can be made so that all TKs follow the same color code (IE. HEX Code) 3. The variation of the Stormtrooper Commander TKC Thermal Det. should be based on the PC Game model, not another character from a different game. That being said, I think both versions would still be acceptable. Offically, the Stormtrooper Commander (Blue Variant) can be seen in: The Force Unleashed (Multiple Console). This is my view.
  9. I was able to get you a really, really, really large view of the Thermal Det. This image is from the model of the Stormtrooper from the forces unleashed. Download for a larger image, the resolution is 3276 x 2403 24bit RGB non stretched Uber Hi-Def ---------
  10. I use Velcro on mine, works like a charm and easy to replace when needed...
  11. Ooohhh.... Took me a couple reads to understand it, but I get it now That's a great suggestion, thanks! That will probably help keep the bell position so it doesn't lower excessively. Thanks!
  12. It was mounted that high because in TFU, if you look at the model, it was lifted just above the ledge. Again this was built for an Incinerator which was moslty ROTJ with some ESB changes... Thanks for the suggestions, I will make those changes! Does anyone have a suggestion for how to keep the shoulder bells rotated forward? I have a strap that goes around my arm, but it tends to roll back.. The only option I can think of is putting Velcro on my shirt...
  13. Nice suggestion! I will grab some black (Or should I use white because it will be over the armor) elastic, and I'll stud snap it for the ease of removing and washing if needed. As for the boxes, that's an easy fix as its being held with Velcro, Ill just slide it up a bit! Thanks for the suggestions
  14. Do you think a strap and push buckle would work, or should I stud snap, or other?
  15. Hello Everyone, This is what I have been patiently working on for the past 3 months now. I am looking for constructive criticism and suggestions on areas that look like they need to be fixed. I take great pride in the work I do and want to make sure it's done right, I would really appreciate your comments and suggestions. Build Kit is AM built for Incin. Helmet is eFX Notes: Still have to replace eye lids to a darker shade. Boots are TK Boots Front Side Side Notes: - I'm still working on the interior of the helmet. My head is tilted completely forward, that's why much of the inside is visible in this case. Notes: - I still have to find the buttons, but the det. is 7 and 1/2 inches long. My intention is to keep it as ROTJ for now with the future intent of making it an Incinerator. I just wanted to get a couple white troops with it before converting. Please be nice! I can take most of your comments, just make sure there constructive and not bashing Needed suggestions: What can I do to make it easier to climb stairs? Should I trim or cut something? Thanks! Star Raider (Corey)
  16. Your Thermal Detonator needs to have 1 inch metal clips, they must be metal and can't be painted silver. (According to CRL) Before trimming your thighs, trying decreasing the length of the strap holding them up and just raise them. There should be about an inch gap.. You seem to have like 2-3 inches of space. Try shortening it. That sniper plate needs to be in front as well.
  17. Congratulations!! before you know it, she'll be off to the Jedi Temple for training!!
  18. I concur. For the TKC and Incinerator, since that was the only experience where TKCs and Incinerators where shown to have light sabers, Starkillers would also be allowed. Now all this being said. Get approved for everything without a weapon, then talk to your garrison and ask them if it would be OK to carry the lightsaber according to CRL during events... Also that Admiral Ackbar is pretty funny... I also understand your point

  20. So this is everything... Everything is connected, its all stud snapped, Velcro-ed... I could use some help with the trimming of the thighs, I feel it needs to be curved more to the butt plate and COD... - The shoulders are a bit back... Didn't have anyone adjust them when I took pictures... - Belt will look better when its attached properly at back... - Abdomen plate buttons still to come... At this point, Its built for Comfort and Picture... Id like to get a 33% ratio for Comfort, Move-ability and Picture. Let me know what you think!
  21. These are low polygon models. The reason you see them at this quality is because when the modeler for TFU designed the weapon, they intended the player to destroy the enemy. Within a matter of seconds the player would then continue to run past the enemy. Because the purpose of the model is not for exporting it out of the game and importing it here for viewing pleasure, the model was designed very low to enhance game performance. I would suggest these images only be use as a reference. Because these images do not show exact detail, please check with members on the forums to confirm details according to CRL Standards. Trying to think of more views... If there is a specific view you would like, let me know.
