I'm a child of the OT, born in '76, who grew up on the snowy plains of Iowa. After college at U of Iowa and a long year living in San Diego, my wife and I settled in Cary, NC in 2008. There's so much we love about the Carolinas, and we now consider it our home. A few more Star Wars-y goodies. I was the winner of Rebelscum's 10th anniversary contest, which means I have a 12" figure of myself made by Gentle Giant (this is my avatar pic). Also, I've traveled to most of the Star Wars filming locations in Tunisia, Italy, Spain, California, etc. I took a Harper's Magazine journalist out to Buttercup Valley; you can read the article if you google "Raiders of the Lost R2". You may have heard me on the ForceCast, talking about the custom figure and the article.
