Loving the effect of cold casting and the result when the black paint is buffed back to reveal the brass!

More cold casting done. This time, the counter. Casting had a single coat of flat black and then a little buff to take it back

Hi everyone, it's been a while! So, as always I have been looking to improve on my builds. Recently I have been working on cold casting the scopes.
Step 1 was to cold cast in brass
Step 2 was to overlay with a coat of matt black
Step 3 was to buff the black back

Thank you!Just beautiful. I lust after these every time one passes by my FB stream. I have absolutely no need for an ROTJ E11 but will definitely own one of yours someday.

Hello all! I thought I would share my latest blaster. It is cast from my original MGC sterling. It has a steel receiver, along with metal components such as tension pins, C-clips and posts etc.

Here you go! My kits are cast from my sterling. In this video it shows how to assemble the stock. Just ignore the parts where I use adhesive. Hope this helps

Holy crow, Marc, that is one truly magnificent looking weapon! Your attention to detail has paid off in spades, sir, and I would not hesitate one bit in recommending this for anyone who wants to have a screen accurate ROTJ blaster!
I hope you don't mind me throwing in one tiny detail...
As seen below in 3 different screen caps there is a (cap?) rivet that runs through the stock, which prevents it from opening.
I have no idea why they did this, but it's just one of those weird things that caught my eye.
Keep up the great work, and please keep supplying these awesome blasters!!!!
I Knew someone would spot that sir! This was a pic of the prototype. The released version does come with all rivets present.

If you have any issues removing the counter, let me know and I'll send you anotherOh dang... and I was so proud of this pieces:-D
Well. I think I will do the armor first and will get another helmet and leave it unpainted.
The counter could be a bigger issue. Because I jb welded on :-D
Thanks for pointing that issues out brother !

DA props are well known in the UK, before he relocated to France. Have a look on facebook for his page "the shed of glittering delights"

These promo pics show the ground down muzzle, and removed ring mount. It also looks like the mag housing details have been removed except the release button on top

Which are you going to build Joseph? The hero or Pugman style?

Lastly was just a case of fitting the remaining components, a little touch up of paint and weathering. I went for a textured undercoat too

Hi everyone! Thought I would post some pics of my cleaned up version of the Pugman. Thanks to Mark at Sheartech who kindly allowed me to use his casts as a base to produce sharper casts moving away from the "rough and ready" version.
Hope you like, and as always any suggestions and feedback are welcome!

Nice work Steven! There is plenty of room inside the grip for a switch and cables, great idea!

No the mold is correct. These are not directly meant to be functional stocks to be honest. Just casts from my origional. But, they can be converted to function. If it breaks, don't blame me!
