  1. Almost exactly the same as me! So, want to send me your armour for a 'test fit'... Note: armour may or may not be returned
  2. I meant the postcard, just letting you know I have posted it off what were you meaning?
  3. Everyone is really friendly and always willing to help
  4. Hi guys, is there anyone that makes the ROTJ blaster greeblies and scope? I was thinking of using a doopy doos handle and magazine and possibly doing a scratch build of the stock, but I am having real trouble finding anyone that sells the kits. Are there any other alternatives? Really want to make up one of these blasters to use for centurion Sean
  5. Maybe lengthening your straps a bit will solve your problem, give that a go before you trim also, are your straps elastic or webbing?
  6. I think that if you move the straps holding up your thighs outwards, presuming you're using the garter belt method... Essentially just rotate your thighs outwards. It should solve your problem... Give that a go before you from anything.
  7. been doing a bit of work on the TKC lately, getting it back up to standard what I've changed since my last update: New kidney/butt plate Latex handguards on rubber gloves More accurate brow trim New ears tightened up and reshaped top of thighs shin closure corrected accurate rivets on the torso and belt I still have to get a rotj blaster and make a game model Thermal Det then I should be at centurion standard (I hope) anyway, here are some photos! Let me know what you think!
  8. Looking good mate. With your teeth, I would take a bit more off there is a reference thread of original ANH helmet teeth on here somewhere that you should use as a guide
  9. Pretty sure the snap on your crotch needs to be replaced with a brad or split rivet.... Not sure if that is only for centurion though...
  10. nice, but I think there needs to be rivets on the ab plate too need to get around to making myself a game version thermal detonator too.... what did you use for the 'control panel' ?
  11. Nice coathangers! But seriously, really amazing armour you have there...wish I could afford one of those nice kits
  12. I have this book, it does say THX-1138 What's the origin on this name again?
  13. The only bit I don't agree on is this, I think it is the same issue with the TKC and INC centurion requirements. you can clearly see the kidney/ab rivets here (only looks like there are 2 though, and spaced out differently) also this You can see that it isn't, also mounted up higher than the movie troopers
  14. my mate sent me this photo on facebook today, just wondering if anyone knows who it is? It looks like fx armour with a pretty decent helmet...
  15. Upload them to Photobucket or something similar and insert the img link into your post
  16. Looks awesome mate! Go the TKC's!! Will be an easy pass. Was hoping to get 1st centurion tkc but looks like you'll beat me to it haha
  17. this would be epic, I have a mate that would be perfect for lando too hahahahaha
  18. guess I never realy thought about it that way, great point Also, I think I know my next costume Starkiller: Admiral Ackbar disguise :laugh1:
  19. So does that mean it is cannon for 3PO to have a saber too--------- And admiral ackbar?
  20. Not trying to be negative, but I still don't get why the crl even allows a lightsaber... The only reason the TKC has been seen with one is due to a cheat allowing you to play as the character; the TKC model has a lightsaber because starkiller needs one for the game. All the actual TKC's that you run into all have blasters, so why is the lightsaber included?? just my $0.02
  21. Looks awesome mate! Damn, might beat me to first tkc centurion too
  22. There are 8 rivets that go in the belt, just make sure they have a solid head. They make a rectangular pattern on each side of the TD... have a look on my build thread for the placement. If you can't get enough from there, I can take some more photos of my belt and post them up. Also have a look at the reference that star raider put up, you can see the belt rivets on there too. As for the holster, I actually an just going to have mine loop around my belt as it is more of a convenience thing for trooping because I don't think the actual character model has a holster.
