  2. The yellow trooper is Jabob When you walk across Australia, look as good your armour will not
  3. I think he's talking about SDS. Any of the makers that you can find on this site are much cheaper
  4. that's awesome!! would you consider making me a folding stock like that?
  5. You don't really need to hit the rivet all that hard, I need to wait for a cadet neat me to get some armour, so I can try installing one on the real deal haha
  6. Since I heard a few people are being confused with what to do with the cap rivets that I supply here http://www.whitearmo...opic=19041&st=0 I thought I'd do up a little video showing you how to do it. If there is anything unclear, just post up and I'll try to answer it as best I can! This is the side of the rivet that you see from outside the armour This side is on the inside of your armour (can't be seen)
  7. Just a heads up, the SOLID half (which is the SHORTER half) of the cap rivets is the side that faces outwards (can be seen from the outside)... the half you have painted there is the inside and won't be seen!!!! Hope you see this before you install them!

  9. I wishyou all the best for you Tk build, but what youhave described here sounds very much like a clonetrooper.... They are seamless and 'perfect' inthe sense they were created in CG and no actual suits exst

Another fun thing for photos is to do 'bunny ears' to other troopers or the person..... But be careful if you do it to a certain asthmatic supervisor
  11. Looking good! If you're wondering what that extra cap rivet is for, it's just a spare in case you lose or stuff up one of the other ones
  12. looks good! But I'd try to remove a bit of the paint on the frown that is on the 'lips' area (area above the holes that have been cut out)
  13. They look fine to me Just paint them and they'll be good.
  14. the originals were vac-formed add-ons... post some pics of what you have already If you still want to go another route, use chicago screws and paint them the appropriate colour.
  15. very cool. I've also seen some people use an old cd to give a cool effect
  16. I used contact cement to glue mine to some gloves like the one Arnie_DK has... it worked great
  17. I've seen a few resin helmets around.... Blackula (?) does commando and pilot ones. I haven't seen any armour makers about though.. if you fins any let me know!
  18. I agree with this so much! Have to keep pulling up dad when he tells people 'Sean dresses up in a stormtrooper costume" .....We do so much more! Which is why I always start off by saying 'I'm part of the 501st legion. the star wars costuming group... We go to hospitals, etc and raise HEAPS of money for charity" It's good to know some of the figures to help show people just how awesome we are. no dig at cosplayers, but have you ever seen any of them at a hospital visiting kids or raising money for charity?
  19. Hooray!! thanks heaps guys, can't tell you how much this means :)
