TM... would you show us a pic so we can replicate it? I think I can see the desingn, but a cleas real life shot would be cool... Also... This pic shows a different Thumb print mark than I have seen before. Just noticed the squareness to the shape as well as what looks like an outline... Is this only on the hero suits?

I have been working with a fellow Navy bud here in Sasebo to get into his armor. He is soon to transfer to Shore and is ready to start trooping. I need some help though. Story goes we met at Church. I was wearing my FISD shirt at the time and he broke the ice by asking my if I was 501st. I was blown away that he know what it was even. He is a Chief, so an E-7. We struck up a conversation and through that I found out that he was in Sando for a long time and loved Comicon. Attended every year and always wanted to be a trooper but had no time for his Career. I can identify. Navy life is rough. He was in a tight spot caring for a sick Mother in the states. She just passed on yesterday, so they will be making the second trip home in less than 3 months. I know that trip is no joke price wise, and he is kinda tapped with the whole finance issue, so there goes the armor budget. Its on my heart to give him armor. My FX and AP combo is going to him on May 10 for there going away party here at the Church. He is transferring to Northern Japan, so he will be in my Garrison. I am really starting this thread to ask his future Comrades in arms for items they deem a new trooper to have. I want to make a special day for him and his wife, who is ultra supportive of his wanting to troop. One thing I am planning to do is to "Knight" him with Armor. It will be a total surprise to him and his wife when Lord Vader brings him his White Suit. Stickers, patches, extra stuff lying around for a trooper in need... Anything. I know the FISD is one big band of brothers so I thought I would ask. I go on a limb for the few that are true, and I know his heart is in the Lord as well as in the Legion to do the work needed in armor. Thanks guys in advance and thanks for reading this.

Some say there boots have no odor. My CAboots smelled so bad I sold them. This is after setting them outside for a week. Other than Dan111H2O, CA is the only regular supply for white boots that dont suck or come with a zipper on the side IE Elvis boots. Maybe some day I will do a set of painted boots.

If memory serves me... There on Ebay, and I believe it is fiberglass copy of the FX, maybe AP. They were out of the UK. They called it FRP. I even had to look that up and ask here. Fiber reinforced plastic. IE Fiberglass.

Fiberglass shards in your leg if it rubbed against ya long enough would do it in for me... Plastic man... Plastic.

I circled where things need to be trimmed. How did this come assembled? Any hoo... darker lenses, and trimming the spots circled will be a good start. Make them look to be like the parts are made for each other. Bet you don't move to well in that thing yet do ya... Trimming that up will be a great start to reducing the armor bites. Your thighs are still to low, and spin your Forearm a tad.

The stock blades on the MR and the new Hasbro ones are crudy to begin with. Head over to either The Custom Saber Shop OR Ultrasabers Pick your self up a conversion kit. Change that bad boy over to a stunt. Comes with a Luxon 3 or 5 LED and they are SUPER bright. Far Far better than the MR blade. The MR Blade has a series of LEDs in them, and they are weak. The kit is easy to install and it is a vast improvement. That will make your 50 dollar saber worth 3 time that. A turn key kit from them is about 225 back in the day. Might be cheaper now, but that is what I paid. As long as your sound module (where the batteries go) is good, your golden. Either site sells a kit with a new plastic stunt blade.

Well... After a long long "stare at it" period I am back in the build on this armor. I got my EIB ESB with an FX kit... Needless to say I am a bit nervous in this build... I don't want to botch it. So SLOW I go.

Well the 42 is in the game... LOL... That would be awesome.
