hello troopers, we are currently re-organizing the forums to make them easier to navigate. if you notice anything missing it is likely just being moved to a new area, you may also see new areas popping up
this shouldn't take very long so please be patient as we work on this, and sorry for any inconvenience.

glad to see you made it here and thanks for letting me know we had an issue we removed the other login page on the wiki to avoid future confusion..

Thanks for posting these. I'm very excited this is finally getting under way. I spoke to Mason on the phone the other day about it. I have been harassing him for a while. BTW, Mason thinks we should steer away from the Stunt/Hero naming and go with a Endor/Death Star instead to avoid confusing with the ANH costumes.
Looking at this endor version is making me reconsider doing the death star one for my RotJ suit.
yes, i have been pondering split Endor and Death Star version since i took over as DO and started working on refining the current standards with my current XO.. i have put a lot of study time into ROTJ and a lot of thought into this..
Great Work Rich!
The armour looks great.
Apparently I have to get clearance before any of my pics can be used for this. I am building a set in the next couple of weeks for another new member here. So I should get some pics soon that you may be able to use.....
thats the rules all CRL models need to be legion members, this applies to all 501st costumes

i just updated the Wiki
-
here is the updated list http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=40
the Wiki is under construction and that list is very old..

thanks everyone i am currently hard at work getting the new staff in order and planning many great things for the coming year. with the 35th anniversary of ANH coming in May we may have a deluge of new members, i would like to build on the current model of the FISD to better accommodate all members new and old. i look forward to serving as your DL and thank you all for supporting me.

belt sander works nice

are you trying to upload a avatar ? the pic above your name? or post a image in a text box?

I have one question:
In reading the new requirements it states no strap on shoulder bell and if present not going over the bicep. In the pic above the requirements, which I thought was an accurate pic, it clearly shows the straps over the bicep. Is the wording correct or the pic?
thanks
that is because that refrence photo is quite old and was made before that was a requirement,, updating some aspects of the CRL's and visual references is going to be a top priority in the coming months
Omg my tk only needs 2 things changed by my reading hmmmm
EIB here i come !
great!

to avoid confusion all old (outdated) EIB requirements have been archived. the current requirements can be found HERE
NOTE: you must comply with all the base standards (in black text) and also EIB requirements (in blue text)

outward facing overlaps.. the assembly appears correct but the rear overlap issue needs to be fixed
-
Doesn't look too bad at all.
Few changes I'd make if it were me - but it's up to you.
I'd put the biceps under the shoulder bells so you don't have a gap.
Put 2 pieces of elastic on your shoulder bridges so they don't move about on your back.
it appears he is going fro ESB, some of those are ANH details
-
i assume you are going for basic 501st entry?
it looks like you have the AM shin issue, your shins are improperly assembled. here is a tutorial to fix this http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=16608&hl=am+shins&fromsearch=1
it is seen in the CRL here as a basic requirement http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_esb
also the white elastic strap under your arms (connecting the chest and back) should not be visible
other than that i dont see anything major that would deny you 501st membership (besides the blue tape )
i would also strongly suggest upgrading your helmet in the future, the AM/FX helmet is severely out-of-date...

a big buckets off to Paul for making the FISD what it is today!!! it has been an honor serving under you. now go take a good nap, and just think,,, now that you are no longer DL the keyboard companies stock will plummet
-
a few times it has not worked for me unless i am viewing the main forum index.
-
i just rough masked it around the detail then trimmed the fine edges it with an exacto knife, then applied the primer and paint. i did lightly score with a blade around some areas when removing the masking.
heads up: 2012 house cleaning
