What I meant is that this is an expensive hobby, and most here either have this as a priority, or earn enough to have all they need in addition to this. We get a lot of students coming here who think this is cheap and get shocked when they discover that it isn't. I was also a student when I got started, but I had such cheap housing back then that I could afford this on my student loans, and I made it a priority.

Fiber glass armour is a very bad idea. Very heavy, and hard to repair. And it will chip easily too.
