  1. That's how I have it. No padding on the top, just around the sides to keep it from turning and wobble.
  2. Rivets on the knee plate are allowed as it stands today. It's just not ideal and may be not be allowed in the future.
  3. You may want to add straps around across the shoulder bell to keep it in place.
  4. A greblie and knee armour strapping.
  5. Yeah, it's not a requirement. More of a de-facto thing on how it's done. But if you look at the legion as a whole, it's a minority that even have those snaps. Have a look at Lukes ANH armour that was posted pics on from the blue ray box earlier today. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=16969
  6. Well, the real suits had male snaps there and that's how most people chose to do. But if you don't care then keep it.
  7. Looking good! But why did you add the female snap on the ab instead of the male part?
  8. Oops, double post.
  9. Or if you're in the UK http://www.dandbmili...ated-1244-p.asp Edit: seems to be out of stock since last I checked, but I'm pretty sure they'll get more of them eventually.
  10. You need to clear EIB first. Nice armour though I think you could strap the chest and ab together so that it doesn't flap out like that when you move.
  11. That looks great!
  12. Looks like you got things under control.
  13. You could make the ears slimmer. But you're doing good!
  14. Looking really good!
  15. Awesome! Please post lots of pics of this process as I'm waiting for my own copy and even though I didn't think this could be done initially you made me want to do the same.
  16. Yeah, sounds good!
  17. Make a run! Get a 6 m pipe, cut it up and sell the rest here
  18. Get some strips of aluminum and bend them yourself if you want to save money and still be accurate.
  19. Last week I was fortunate enough to get my helmet re-vamped by Acima so now all decals are GONE and everything is hand painted painted, and she even free handed it! Most impressive and I love my "new" helmet. The vocoder and most of the frown is done by me since before. But the vocoder is getting redone by me eventually. White balance on the pics are off, but here they are none the less.
  20. His inbox might be full. Do not worry. Just try again later.
  21. As a Linux user and advocate I think this is fairly simple. Lucas makes these templates with the help of the community. If you don't like it you are free to change them. The PDF's are editable. And if you have anything to add, just add it and we all can either discuss it and agree to add it, or you can edit the templates and "fork" them into your own version. But if you are going to criticize - make it constructive so that all can benefit from it.
  22. I think it's just sagging a little. Looks hilarious though!
  23. Yes, I find that very amusing myself and stands as an example of how messed up this club can be sometimes (albeit at it's extreme).
