  1. That sounds like some really expensive hand guards....
  2. I'll keep it civil. Promise!
  3. I don't mind either of them. Only slightly annoyed when scouts troop with DLT-19's because they are envious of our big guns. In battlefront scouts can be seen running around with sniper rifles, but those are not DLT-19's, and those sniper rifles are not allowed in the current TB CRL anyway.
  4. I have that photo as a background picture sometimes. Too bad I was busy preparing for the sci-fi fair and a big troop yesterday night to play this game. Btw, Stephen. You wife is now known as "Leia the beheader"?
  5. That's what Brian Muir said. The thumb print was not present on his sculpts, and somehow was added in between he finished the plaster sculpt and the vacuum forming tools were made.
  6. Ah, yeah I should watch the whole scene. Too bad I don't have blue ray player, because I have the box!
  7. I see interesting things in that photo. But more disturbing is that it looks like there's only two small capacitors in between the bigger ones. Look at the marks between the bigger ones, as if they have these holes in the frame, like John had his new ones made like. But I only see two (really faint) marks where the small capacitors would be.
  8. Awesome! That was really fast.
  9. Good job on modding the SDS. Looks good now!
  10. Yeah, I know the suggested origin of the originals. I mentioned these I saw today because they kind of looked similar. So they might have been intended for similar use. Just as a proof of viability for the originals.
  11. Better to go with french blue.
  12. Just search metalmite on ebay and you'll find some. Don't think any of the "right" size are for sale right now though. I know this isn't the right kind, but it sort of resembles the outer two capacitors. Ebay-link
  13. That looks awesome.
  14. Yeah, I know it's terrifying to drop so much cash at once. I felt like I would get a heart attack after I had paid for a mostly complete boba fett. 1800 USD in one go. Ugh!
  15. And if someone US-based happens to read this and still want's a doopydoo but don't trust their customs office, here's one for sale. Super cheap even. -----------
  16. That's all good. But be nice to doopydoo's. They have massive work load, and plenty of other Americans had their kits delivered without a problem. It's not doopydoo's fault that your customs office can't tell resin from a real gun (with your gun laws, I'd expect them to know). If doopydoo would send each blaster with different delivery services just because the customer requests it, it would be a 2 month waiting list, or even more. Sci-Fire are awesome, no disagreement there. But they do make things in smaller runs than doopydoo. So consider those things above before you blast them.
  17. I've had mine (identical to Martin's) on with these webbing tabs for over a year of trooping with zero issues. Use E-6000 if you go with this solution. I can't say how abs-cement will react with the webbing or if it gives a good bond.
  18. Yeah, I got something similar too.
  19. Wow, those turned out fantastic! Did you trill the holes for the capacitors yourself?
  20. Those are nice sheets indeed!
  21. Don't worry, Jesses AP would fit you height wise at least.
