  1. As long as your trim it to fit you'll be fine. Listen to the advices already given. This is not something I'm looking at in a centurion application. Just make sure to do a good job at the knee plate and knee belt once you get to that point. It's a pet peeve of mine to notice those parts.
  2. Ah, must have mis-read. I was talking about the shoulder straps.
  3. Looking good! I think making the connector between the two cuffs able to rotate will decrease the risk of breaking. If you haven't done that already.
  4. White is screen accurate, but it should be elastic. If you have your armour put together well then the straps aren't visible anyway.
  5. Second attempt looks fine to me.
  6. Your cake is more accurate than some helmets I've seen on ebay. Happy birthday!
  7. Return edge is where the plastic bends inwards making it look thicker when viewed from the outside.
  8. Thanks for the update Eric.
  9. Welcome Sherry! ---------
  10. If I remember to do so, no problem. I'm thinking of using them in my Fett costume I'm building. The EE-3 blaster has plenty of room for a sound board.
  11. Hehe, now you get it.
  12. If you want to do it the right way, glue is the way to go.
  13. Of course you can make them tighter. Just cut some off the sides. I did that to my TM (I'm skinny). You may want to post up images of where you're thinking of cutting first so you make the cuts on the right parts. Here's the post in my build from when I did it. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=11371&st=60#entry169949 I even had to take them apart again because I had already assembled them.
  14. Remember that the triangular part between the grip and the trigger is silver and not black once you do the silver paint.
  15. Haven't tried the budget version Andy, but I ordered one and it's little brother to try out.
  16. There's no known correct width. I suggest you go with a rail of equal width to the rear "foot" of the scope.
  17. Absolutely rubies.
  18. Happy birthday Corey!
  19. You also need to add the cocking handle to the SDS blaster for Centurion. You can read all about it in my old Centurion thread if you want.
  20. I've started up a little discussion in the the staff area and part of that conclusion is that you most definitively should be approved with your armour as-is. Congratulations trooper!
  21. Yes, I do feel some additional notes could be added to the Centurion specs on how the knee belt should be installed and sniper knee plate trimmed (not an issue in your case, but I see it too often in builds), being part of what I consider correct assembly. Technically you should be approved because you have all the boxes checked, but I think both you and me would be happier knowing that no visible flaws can be found. If you disagree with me, don't mind saying so. This needs to be a transparent process, and through community discussions it may lead to improvements to what level of detail should be in the specifications. If you do choose to get a replacement knee belt and do the mod, just post it up and we'll take it from there. In the meantime, be proud of a near flawless armour. You make your garrison proud.
  22. Well, it's not pinned, but it is on the top half the first page of this forum: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=18454
