  1. TM is one of the nicest armors out there but for bigger guys it is out because it was designed around the slender person (36 waist max) If your goal is to achieve any accuracy awards, RT is the way to go.
  2. Hit up UK Simon. He got me my display
  3. OOps!!! We' re thinking the same......You JUST posted Detonatorpics. You can just color the screws with a black marker if you want. They can be screws or machine screws with nuts just as long as the heads are slotted not phillips
  4. Before I do an official review I am going to need some additional pictures as required by the list: Helmet front Lens color (backlit if necessary) Hovi Mic tip close-up Thermal Detonator You don;t need to re-take these, but your arms should be at your side for the submission pics. This is to check overall fit of your armor.
  5. We will be here when you are ready. Take your time to do it right.
  6. But the ABS paste sticks to the PVC?? Great!!!!!
  7. I have seen some real artistry from troopers who have adapted parts and done repairs using ABS paste(ABS scraps mixed with acetone). Has anyone tried this with the PVC that RS armor is made from?
  8. Many of the blasters seen...including Han's, didn't have the 90 degree bend at the front of the scope rail but I don't remember a scope rail with that amount of bow in it.

    And again....

Crooks try to make it so tasty looking
  10. Whatever you do to join that seam will be covered by your waist belt. No EIB issues with that ab.
  11. I was going to mention that you are missing some pictures.
  12. I would seek out NE. Although it is no longer sold here, it might be sold elsewhere or on the side. If you go with AM and go for EIB or further, you will need to upgrade with new parts. AM and NE are made by the same guys.
  13. There are many girls who have done this before you. The thing that will come into play the most is your frame at 5'3", you might need some modifications to help your armor to fit comfortably. Or, if you don't want to mod the outside, I know another lady trooper who wears internal padding to fill out the suit from the inside. Look at this build to see a suit custom fit for a smaller lady: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/25919-dianas-rs-props-build-anh-stunt/
  14. the rivets are 20mm from the edge to the center of the rivet :/ me You said they measured at 20.
  15. This is a great build so far. I saw a question come up earlier regarding your side rivet placement. 10mm is 10mm. If you are shooting for any kind of accuracy award, the placement of the hardware is one of the easiest things to achieve. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/image/929-ab-kidney-connection-01jpg/ With photo references to refer to, you should be able to get it really close to the proper location.
  16. Your welcome
  17. Dang! Those are sharp! Well done
  18. Exactly how big are you? What is your waist size? ATA, CAP, and MTK will fit up to a 38 inch waist
  19. Nice work so far!
  20. so....if this goes anything like your blaster build.....it will end up being 326 pages and finished at sometime in the next two years
  21. This portion of the CRL will be changed shortly
  22. If I was gonna drop $600 on a Sterling, I would get a deac that still had the bolt an the receiver was totally in tact
