i was issued two poncho's when i first joined the airforce many many moons ago... i think i still have them... now we use gortex issued items... i like them ok, but when its hot and rainy, gortex just doesnt do it... the last time i deployed i found a stash of desert colored poncho's.... jackpot... then i remembered it didnt rain in the desert where i was... oh well...

yeah... but i was trying to start a thread... (as you have already seen)... but it didnt work... not too worried about it now... photobucket seems pretty easy to use... thanks for the help though...

i have tried that... it just doesnt work for some reason... i guess its a moot point now... i just created a photobucket account.... maybe that will be easier... we will see... :0)

this sounds like a good place to start... how do you load pictures in the forum? if i wanted to start a thread and add a pic or two it doesnt let me... it says i havent chosen a pic to download... do i have to have my pics in a online storage or can i upload pics from my puter?... Edit especially when i get my armor in... i would like to share my experience....

you know mat.. i was thinking of the same thing... actually there is this necklace my wife likes... hmmm... maybe it could work... in reality... my wife is pretty good about it all... she calls me a geek... which i am... thats ok... she tries to get in to my obsesion... (i have a walk-in closet-turned-into-office full of my star wars collection...) but it doesnt always work out... she will buy me a figure or two for my collection which in nice, but i dont have the heart to tell her i am only collection the figs with light sabers... (she bought me Biggs) oh well... she has grown in her knowlege of star wars movies though... she can hold her own pretty good in my star wars trivial pursuit... she know i wanting to buy armor and she doesnt really say anything about it... which could be worse... i have no idea what she thinks of the armor thing... im sure she would come around and enjoy it with me... she is great though... while i was deployed she redid our office completely in all my star wars posters and rearranged my shelves to hold my star wars figs and collectables... it looks great now... my own star wars shrine....

can i get a run down on which is which... i know this question has been asked before but... never has it been laid out like this... just a quick discription of each... im not looking for every detail and differences... jus the basics thanks... maybe this could be moved to the newbie section... i know as a not so newbie i still need info... thanks... you know... i have a time share there in Orlando... just bought it so im not sure how it would work... i would not be able to make either dates but... i could perhaps get you all a cheaper rate at a our time share... i would need to look into it more... i think it can sleep up to 7 people... close quarters... its not far from disney... we plan on going in aug i think... maybe i can talk my wife into going early... :0)... i dont want to commit to anything yet... i need to find out more about my time share... if anything... this is just an idea...
